📢 Upcoming Venue Closure Notice - Fraser Coast Interschool Equestrian Competition 2026 🐴

To accommodate the Fraser Coast Interschool Equestrian Competition, Maryborough Showgrounds & Equestrian Park will be closed to public access from 10am Monday 24 August 2026 reopening at 6am on Saturday 29 August 2026.

During this period, there will be no casual riding, recreational access, camping, or public use of the venue while event and competition is underway.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we welcome riders, families and schools from across QLD for this fantastic event.

This week, the Rotary Youth Driver Awareness (RYDA) Program is taking place at the Maryborough Showgrounds & Equestrian Park, proudly supported by Fraser Coast Regional Council

RYDA provides young drivers with practical road safety education, helping students develop the knowledge, attitudes and decision-making skills needed to stay safe on our roads. Through engaging presentations and real-life scenarios, participants gain valuable insights into driving risks, responsibilities and the impact of the choices they make behind the wheel.

We're pleased to support this important community initiative and welcome students, educators, volunteers and presenters to the venue throughout the week.

A big thank you to Rotary Clubs, participating schools, volunteers and all those involved in delivering this life-changing program for our region's young people.

🚫 Temporary Venue Closure Notice 🚫

Please be advised that Maryborough Showgrounds & Equestrian Park and all equine facilities will be closed to the public until 6am on Tuesday, 28 July 2026 due to major events taking place onsite.

✅ RV Rest Stop remains open until 10am on Wednesday, 22 July 2026, after which the venue will be fully closed to public access.
