Savannah and Martin were married at the beautiful Panorama House — and while the weather certainly didn’t play fair on their special day, with mist, fog, rain and overcast skies, somehow it only added to the magic.

Their story began years earlier, in the hallways of high school. What started with simple conversations slowly grew into something much deeper. Months turned into years, and before they knew it, ten beautiful years had passed — bringing them to the moment they finally said, “I do.”

Their life together has been filled with laughter, adventure, shared experiences and countless memories. What I love most about their story is the way their lives have naturally and effortlessly grown together, one moment at a time.

And despite the gloomy weather, it was an absolute pleasure to work alongside Jason Cole, Cole’s Studio a true perfectionist behind the camera. The mist, rain and soft grey skies may not have been what they had imagined, but Jason managed to turn those conditions into something truly magical. Their photographs captured not only the beauty of Panorama House, but the love, emotion and connection between Savannah and Martin

It’s a wonderful reminder of just how important it is to have a photographer who knows the area, understands the light and weather, and knows how to capture those unexpected moments that become some of your favourite memories.

Martin and Savannah thank you for asking me to be your celebrant and for allowing me to witness the beautiful love you share.

May your life together continue to be filled with laughter, adventure, wonderful experiences and countless new memories.

Congratulations again to you both. ❤️🥂

Here’s to the next chapter of your beautiful love story. ✨

The beautiful wedding ceremony of Sarah and Jordan was held at the stunning Panorama House, overlooking the ocean and surrounded by the people who love them most. Acknowledging those they had lost.

One of the most moving moments of the ceremony was a cherished family tradition, shared by Jordan’s mother, Fiona, through the presentation of the Korowai.

Fiona explained that the Korowai is far more than a cloak. It is a mantle of love, protection, and responsibility, traditionally worn by Rangatira (leaders) and treasured by the Whānau (family). It carries the stories of those who have gone before and the hopes of those yet to come.

As the Korowai was gently placed around Sarah and Jordan, it symbolised the joining of not only two people, but two families, two histories, and two futures woven together as one.

Fiona’s blessing spoke of the shelter and strength the Korowai represents:

“May this Korowai shelter you in times of storm. May it warm you in times of sorrow. May it remind you that you never stand alone. You are wrapped in love — past, present, and future.”

She then offered the beautiful blessing:

“Kei a tātau te rangimārie, kei a kōrua.”
May peace be with you both.

The couple responded by accepting the Korowai as a symbol of their unity, their strength, and their shared journey, promising to protect one another as the cloak protects them.

It was an exceptionally special part of the ceremony, made even more meaningful by the love with which the Korowai was created and the deep significance it holds for their family and culture.

The entire day was a true celebration of love. Their vows were heartfelt, beautifully written, and spoken with sincerity and devotion. Every word reflected the deep connection they share and perfectly captured the spirit of their wedding day.

I am continually grateful for the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, learn about different cultures and traditions, and witness the unique ways families express their love and commitment.

Thank you for the honour of being your celebrant. It was a privilege to stand alongside you and your families and to witness such a meaningful and magical celebration of love.

Kimberly and Joshua were married at Panorama House surrounded by their family and friends.

They chose to bring their wedding date forward as Kimberly’s grandfather was unwell. Sadly, he was unable to be with them on their special day, but we know he was watching from heaven above, wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness.

In a beautiful tribute to the generations who have shaped their lives, both Kimberly and Joshua chose their grandmothers to be their witnesses. It was a touching reminder of the importance of family and a wonderful way to honour those who are no longer with us.

Kimberly and Joshua’s heartfelt vows reflected the genuine love, respect, and connection they share. There was something especially moving in hearing their promises to one another, and it was clear for all to see just how much they mean to each other. Not a dry eye and yet laughter from the guests.

Joshua shares many of the qualities that Kimberly admired in her grandfather, making his presence felt throughout the day in a very special way.

Kimberly and Joshua, thank you for asking me to be your celebrant. It is always a privilege to witness such pure love between two people. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness, laughter, adventure, and cherished memories as husband and wife.

And thank you for the beautiful gift. It was completely unexpected and truly appreciated.

Enjoy every moment of the wonderful journey ahead together.

I am so lucky to meet so many beautiful couples, and Kim and Josh were truly amazing. From the very beginning, they were so easy to work with, and as a celebrant, getting the opportunity to marry a couple and witness the love they have for one another and their family is such a privilege.

Today, I received the most beautiful thank you note and a gorgeous gift that smells absolutely divine, thanking me for helping them with their wedding and for doing something I genuinely love to do.

How lucky am I?

Thank you, Kimberly and Joshua, for your beautiful gift and heartfelt words that brought tears to my eyes. Wishing you both a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and happiness.

What a beautiful day it was celebrating the wedding of Matt and Margarita at the spectacular Mount Keira Lookout. With breathtaking views surrounding them, Matt and Margarita exchanged heartfelt vows filled with so much love, emotion, and sincerity. It was especially touching to see Matt wear his heart on his sleeve during the ceremony, creating such a genuine and emotional moment for everyone present.

Although they were both understandably nervous, the ceremony was also filled with plenty of laughter, warmth, and happiness. It was wonderful to see Margarita’s family joining the celebration via WhatsApp, sharing in such a special occasion from afar and witnessing the beautiful commitment Matt and Margarita made to one another.

Thank you both for asking me to be your celebrant. It was an honour to witness such a beautiful ceremony and to meet your lovely family and friends. I wish you both a lifetime of love, happiness, laughter, and unforgettable memories together.

The celebrations will continue as Matt and Margarita travel back to Margarita’s hometown to celebrate again with her immediate family — another beautiful chapter in the story of your love together .
