Our final Queen for the night needs no introduction, she’s a sonic seductress playing sultry disco, electrifying boogie, and soul-drenched funk - always bringing her glamour and dangerous allure to the dancefloor! Our beloved 2ser needs our help!
They are in serious risk of shutting down due to one of the core partners pulling their funding.

2ser 107.3 FM has been on the air for almost 50 years, and has supported Sydney’s cultural, entertainment and media communities to broadcast independent and alternate voices. Many Queen Bee DJs have hosted, produced and guested on 2SER shows.

It’s that time again friends, for your monthly dose of goodness at , showcasing some of the best female and gender diverse vinyl DJs in the land!

Kicking us off is , a Soundsystem sister, funk fanatic, latin lover, party starter - bringing you mashup mischief from our hiphop heroes! Molly-Pop cut her teeth in London’s Soho, long before a sync button was even a sparkle in Pioneer’s eyes. Expect anything from 90s hiphop golden era to 70s raw funk to a hiphop reggae mashup made last week in a shed in Scunthorpe.

We are thrilled to have one of our co-founders back to the hive this month, and boy, are you in for a treat! keeps people dancing and having fun, threading dancefloor bangers with kooky left-turns and unexpected gems. Her party bag is packed with funk, soul, boogie, disco, hip‑hop, jazz, latin, and 60s–90s rock and pop. She loves bringing joyful, feel-good sets to warehouse parties and bars alike. She’s also a co- founder of Loud Island and produced the zoom party series Loose Bubble.

Finally, we have . She loves to jump around with genre, gravitating towards tunes that makes her heart sing and that she feels a strong excitement to share. Her selection can be beautiful, powerful, political and honest. For Akira, it’s all about what comes next and expresses joy.

After a year-long hiatus from the decks, Georgie Groovescooter returns for this month’s vinyl only Queen Bee showcase - joined by DJ Boo Boo Muck and Rebecca Rosenfunk.

Kicking off from 6pm with Georgie, along with another original member of the QB collective, , sandwiched in the middle and ending the night with a set from .

DJ Boo Boo Muck - A Sydney-based international 60s all-vinyl DJ with over a decade of experience. Her sets are a delicious mix of soul, garage punk, and funk, with a cheeky pinch of Yé-Yé. You can also catch her on 2SER’s Love Buzz program on Saturday nights.

Rebecca Rosenfunk - Serving up everything from smooth & sassy soul to gritty funk, dancefloor disco to rare groove, plus 60s R&B, hip hop, boogie, and Afro-Latin rhythms. She also co-hosts The Beat Kitchen on 2SER on Sunday afternoons.
