Getting ready for spring weddings and I’ve had lots of questions about personal vows.
You don’t have to be a “good writer” to have beautiful vows. Honestly, the best vows are usually the simplest ones.

These warm afternoons, sunny days and beautiful light have been hard to beat lately.

I’ve been a little quiet on here, but behind the scenes it’s been a lovely season of celebrating love.
While I only share wedding photos with my couples’ permission, I feel incredibly grateful to have been part of so many meaningful moments recently.

Here’s to making the most of these gorgeous winter days and to all the beautiful celebrations still to come.

Hand fasting is a beautiful ritual that symbolises the joining of two lives, two hearts and two families. Cords, ribbons or fabric are gently wrapped around a couple’s hands. They represent the promises, love and commitment being made to one another.

3 years ago, I had the honour of conducting the ceremony for Dylan & at the beautiful .
This past weekend, I found myself back there again — this time making use of their stunning chapel space. 🙌🏼
This venue truly has it all: breathtaking ceremony locations, accommodation on site, and a reception space overlooking the rolling hills.
It was such a privilege to return and experience the magic of this place all over again.

Ten years ago, on the beautiful shores of Cotton Tree Beach, I had the absolute honour of officiating the wedding of Dylan & Louise 🩵

Saturday 7th May 2016 will always hold a special place in my heart, not only because it was such a beautiful day filled with love, laughter and happy tears, but because it was my very first wedding as a celebrant.

Over the past decade, it has been so incredibly special to watch life unfold for these two. From new homes and exciting career paths, to becoming parents and building a beautiful family together.
What a privilege it has been to witness pieces of their story continue long after the ceremony ended.

Dylan & Louise, thank you for trusting me all those years ago. You’ll always hold a very special place in my journey and I’ll forever be grateful that your wedding was the very beginning of it all.
