Let’s throw it back to the love celebration of Ann and Luke. Ann was brimming with nervous excitement when she got out the car. We think about our wedding day with such anticipation, and imagine what it will feel like to finally marry the person we love, that the actual moment can get a little bit overwhelming sometimes.
So I squeezed her hand, gave her a hug, told her she looked incredible, and reminded her that I’d be standing nearby throughout the ceremony (except for their vows of course, I always get out the way for those).
Ann walked down the aisle, saw the love of her life standing at the other end, and her nerves melted away.
And later that night, Ann and I tore up the dance floor like it was our job.
