Well Friday was quite the surprise waking up to this and a 5 ⭐️ client review.

This has honestly true to heart been almost 7 years of absolute sacrifice, growing, breaking down, balancing business and motherhood, pure satisfaction and but also at times disappointment.

Working in the event industry is hard but also a gift to be able to help people have such memorable milestones.

This past 10 months I’ve pivoted and evolved and feel like I’m finally heading into my best Era yet.

Minimal with a touch of Party was the vibe for this wedding.

Originally we had started off with a whole different styling direction & colour scheme but in the final few months changed to a more modern style with white,red,purple as primary colours and buttermilk and silver for accents.

This switch really elevated the final look and complimented the wooden tones from the venue.

Choosing your wedding accommodation is a key factor in setting the style for your preparation look.
It’s best to view both the interior and exterior imagery when searching for your accommodation, to get a feel for how your photos may look.

Viewing rooms with high ceilings, large windows, soft furnishings and accent furniture can really contribute to adding to that Editorial or Photojournalistic style of shooting.

Beauty stylists, photographers and videographers are going to love a well decorated room with lots of natural light.

From a logistics side: location is key
• Reasonable close proximity to your ceremony location or wedding venue is always a high advantage, incase you happen to run late on the day.
• Access roads- if using vintage bridal cars, they may require certain styles of access roads for the cars to be able to travel down.
• Destination weddings -Phone Signal can be a real issue especially with some down south locations- in the lead up to your wedding and on the day it’s vital you are able to be contacted, for many various reasons.
