Years ago, for my daughter’s very first Book Week, she asked me to dress up with her.
So I did something bold.
And I said yes to her.
I left my comfort zone & stepped into the world of Hogwarts - dressed head-to-toe as Hermione Granger, the whole Gryffindor get-up! 🪄⚡️

I was the only parent who did it that year.
The principal even called me up on stage ..
my heart was racing, I declined.
I felt exposed, awkward, out of my depth.
But I did it for her.
For the magic.
For the memory.
Sometimes love asks us to step outside the lines, beyond ego & into bold devotion.
That moment taught me something powerful -
Love is a portal. It invites us into unknown territory. That’s where real magic lives.

A little rock, a big moment 🌈

Today at The Soul Nook Collective, I stumbled across this colourful little treasure .. a hand-painted rainbow rock, tucked quietly among the pot plant & sunshine.

Instantly, it made my heart smile. These simple, unexpected moments always seem to arrive when you need them most.

But what made it even more special? I know the beautiful little soul who created it - a young boy with the biggest heart & brightest spirit.

This wasn’t just paint on stone .. it was joy, colour, kindness & a reminder that magic lives in the smallest gestures.

To that sweet rainbow-maker - thank you. You made my day. And I’m pretty sure you’ve made many others too. 💛🌈

✨Liberation, Healing & Horsepower✨

There’s a sacred kind of freedom that comes after everything falls apart ..
A quiet reclamation of self that happens not in one big moment, but in a thousand little ones.

After my separation, I found myself lost in a space between who I had been & who I was becoming. It was raw, messy & deeply uncomfortable - but it was also the start of my return to me.

And then .. I met someone.
A beautiful soul.
Not to rescue me.
Not to fix me.
But to hold space for me - to find myself again.
He didn’t ask me to rush.
He didn’t try to shape me.
He simply offered stillness, softness & space.
All with a kind heart.
Space to fall back into my divine feminine - slowly, safely & freely.
He handed me the keys - literally - to a Mustang he had lovingly restored. He said, “Go on. Drive it.” And in that moment, behind the wheel, the window down & soul wide open, something shifted.
I remembered how it feels to be free.
To be wild. I felt her again - the me I had forgotten.
It wasn’t just about the car (although wow — what a ride).
It was about being seen, held, respected & given the room to rise in my own time.
And I did.
I rose.
Not all at once.
But piece by piece.
With grit, grace & the universe whispering ..
‘You’re coming back, the real you .. keep going!’

And for that special man .. thank you for the energy, the love, the timing, the space ..
And for reminding me of who I am ..
Though our paths eventually diverged some time ago, I’ll always be grateful for the part you played in my healing.

And now, I stand here - whole, grounded, softer, stronger & wiser - more myself than I’ve ever been. I’m open to what’s next in my life’s journey.

To every soul learning to breathe again after heartbreak: my advice -
Freedom doesn’t always come fast. But it does come .. and it is divine.
