MY REASON
These beautiful people are my reason.
Back in 2015 when I started Little Vintage they were my reason. I started the business with the support of my husband with our future family in mind. I wanted to find something that I was passionate about and that inspired me but that would also support my most important job - as a stay at home mum.
But before long Little Vintage was supporting full time study instead of us starting a family as my ever supportive hubby pushed me to follow my heart and study teaching. But only four weeks into the semester we found out we were pregnant with our oldest daughter, and ever since then it has been a whirlwind of hustling and growing this business while pregnant and raising our girls.
Because of how much time I have spent pregnant since 2017 it meant that I have enlisted lots of helpers for many of my wedding set ups (FYI it’s hard to set up and style a wedding when you can’t lift anything.. haha). My amazing mum, dad, sister and hubby have helped me on numerous occasions, usually in the heat running around to ensure that we create the wedding of my Bride and Groom’s dreams - and to you four I can’t thank you enough.
But now, since welcoming our third beautiful daughter in three years into the world I have made the difficult decision to say goodbye to this little business of mine. My family are my reason for stepping back and spending my summers focused on them instead of hustling for a different wedding every weekend. I am so humbled by all the incredible support I have received and to all the brides who trusted me with their big day - Thank you! It was the most amazing 5 years and I have learnt so much about myself and I’m very proud of what I have achieved. (And if you kept reading right until the end of this - Thank you!)
