Club Acoustic Blackboard Sessions Club Acoustic @ Maleny RSL, is every 2 months, on the first Thursday. Keep an eye out on this page for other special event dates. Entry price is $10.00. Welcome!

Doors Open at 6pm, Catered, Bar, Music starts 6.30, $10 entry. Club Acoustic is one of the Sunshine Coast’s premier bi-monthly music events, supporting emerging artists and featuring experienced musicians & performers. Born from the tradition of the passionate, original expression of the troubadour, Club Acoustic’s blackboard sessions are held in the warm and intimate sound space of the Maleny RS

L. Club Acoustic is held on the first Thursday every 2 months - for 2024, these are March, May, July, September and November. RSL provides a fully licenced bar, and the event is catered by local foodies. In May, the event is on Saturday the 4th, not the first Thursday. This is a special fund raising event for Hazara Women for Change. Hosted by Jacinta Foale and friends, Club Acoustic is a vibrant & nurturing artistic community, committed to great sound, the culture of a listening audience, inspiration and raw originality, comfort, choice, an intimate vibe, welcome familiarity and surprising unpredictability. Club Acoustic has been running since early 2016, and we are well known for a committed and appreciative audience of at least 100 people each month.

August 2025 Club Acoustic is this week, but it’s on FRIDAY!!!! Not Thursday. We are in partnership with Maleny’s Regugee Advocacy group Welcome to Maleny to fund raise for education for women and girls in Afghanistan . Food, bar, awesome line up, raffles, good vibes, special guests from Melbourne. Even Regalia will be back from Latvia to be there. 😄 Doors open 5.30, Entertainment starts 6.30. See you there.

2025 Club Acoustic kicks off Thursday February 6th - with a VERY special lineup. As usual, we don’t publish who’s performing beforehand, but I can tell you that the women’s drum and dance troupe Mama Buluku will be a featured act. The other acts all have a a connection to Mana Buluku 🥳. Doors open 5.30, first 6.30, bar, chicken curry, vegan curry, cakes, chai, RAFFLES - including an exquisite quilt, tickets will be on sale during the night and the raffle will be drawn on the night.
