Humbled and honoured - two words I would use to describe how I feel about being asked to play at Dragon Dreaming Festival and represent Newy Bass Crew for a second consecutive year.

I'm beyond excited to be going back to my favourite festival with my favourite people and share a stage with some seriously talented individuals.

Make sure to catch myself, Dread Maiden, Whompus, Floor Twenty, IMPRV and Tama Yaga all throwing down in the name of bass. Cannot wait to see all of your beautiful faces out on the dancefloor!

I had the pleasure of trying something a little different to my usual violence at Dua Anahata to celebrate the birthdays of my wife and brother in law. As I was playing late in the afternoon and through what turned out to be a stunning sunset, I decided to show my softer side and curate a soulful and melodic journey for your aural pleasure.

Shoutout to Eryn and Sam for getting older, and to all of the DJs, performers and legends who attended and lent a helping hand over the course of the weekend. It was such a heart-warming and nourishing weekend and it wouldn't have been possible without each and every one of you. Also, a massive shout out to Ian and Helen, the owners of the property and custodians of the land, thank you for being so welcoming and allowing us to party in a place that we all hold close to our hearts.

Born and raised in Mulubinba (Newcastle AU), KreliaS, a classically trained musician, embarked on a remarkable musical journey, forged amidst the crucible of heavy metal's primal energy, the ethereal realms of progressive/alternative and psychedelic rock, and the haunting abyss of dub bass lines. From this enigmatic fusion, KreliaS weaves spellbinding tapestries of dark and emotive drum and bass soundscapes, seamlessly blending raw power and melodic liquid elements.

He has supported Brazilian legend, Jam Thieves, heavy hitters from Overview Music - Klinical and Energy, UK powerhouses Serial Killaz, Dillinja and KOAN Sound.

Additionally, he has hit the underground festival and doof circuit playing at events such as Dragon Dreaming Festival (NSW), Zenith Gathering Festival (NSW), Basscamp (NSW), Ipso Facto (NSW), Subsonic Music Festival (NSW) and Rootbound Festival (FNQLD).

KreliaS is also the creative co-director of Mulubinba DJ collective, Newy Bass Crew, who are striving to cultivate a community of love, compassion, inclusivity and freedom of expression, as well as connect fellow bassheads with each other in safe spaces, spreading love through various bass sub-genres

Born and brewed in the sonic swamps of Mulubinba, KreliaS is a classically trained muso turned bass sorcerer. A former co-host of Eora’s legendary Cabin Fever Sessions on Orbital Radio (RIP, 2023), he now conjures chaos with Newy Bass Crew.

He’s infiltrated airwaves like Bristol’s Goat Shed Radio, Meeanjin’s Kinphonics, and Mulubinba’s Rave Government, dropping sets that are half meticulously crafted journeys, half unhinged experiments. Onstage, he’s done the rounds with Lowfreq., Higher Ground and DNB Mondays, holding his own alongside giants like Dillinja, Serial Killaz, and Jam Thieves.

He’s dragged his bass-heavy and moody madness into the wild for festivals like Dragon Dreaming Festival, Zenith Gathering , Basscamp, RootBound Festival and Subsonic Music, where he thrives on the pure chaos of outdoor sound systems. When he’s not performing, he’s holed up in his bunker, teaching himself production in a haze of half-finished tracks and bold creative choices. Is he ready to take over the world? Maybe. Is he weird enough to try? Absolutely.

Super stoked to be on board for RPG and Dynamic AV's Timeless NYE gathering this year! Thank you so much for honouring Dread Maiden and myself with the privilege of celebrating the turning of the new year with you!

Join us and these outstanding crews for 2 full days and nights of masterfully curated musical journeys, enchanting performances, blissful camping and some much needed decompression, all tucked away at a secret location on the land of the Ngunnawal people, to whom I pay my respects.

RPG has been putting in the hard yards in conjunction with Off Tap Productions/Dynamic AV to ensure all aspects of this gathering are top tier, with upgrades to their sound and lighting tech, visuals, event management, decor, safety and artistic design. There will be five different themed parties spread out over the duration of the event, each of which will see the stage morph in to five unique beasts with fresh lighting, colours and decor, creating new and exciting experiences for maximum visual stimulation.
