It is with mixed emotions that I announce that I’ve made my last bunch for the season today. And what a beauty to end on celebrating a beautiful anniversary 🥳🌸.
So with the changing weather comes a slowing of flower growth and a time to regroup, reflect and plan for the next season (early spring).
Our third year of growing has been one of the hardest flower seasons and it has been particularly challenging due to the wet weather and abundance of weeds overtaking seedling growth. While I’m hoping it improves in the coming years, I have established that Horseshoe Bend has probably the worst seed bank for awful weeds in the country!!! And while it’s the greatest place on earth it has really pushed me to my limits!
Lastly, thank you to all my flower loving followers who have encouraged and supported me throughout this flower season. Your support encourages me to continue on this journey but not before I have a little break! See you soon!

🤎💛 Taking a long stroll around the remaining summer blooms this afternoon in between rain showers. Savouring the view and enjoying the gorgeous dahlias while they last.
It’s always nice to stop and listen to the beautiful sounds that my little garden can create. I probably don’t do it often enough however today I really appreciated my garden which very soon will be put to bed for the winter months.
This season we have had so many little birds enjoying the flower farm due to the extra protection that the weeds and flowers have provided this summer. Also, the trees and shrubs that we have been continually planting over the last two years are finally starting to establish themselves to help attract the birds an bees.

Thank you Flower Lovers for your patience this week as growers and florists prepare for their busiest day of of the year. ❤️
After cutting like a manic for the past few days I am happy to report I have left enough Blooms in the garden to put together some beautiful seasonal bunches for Valentine’s Day. They will be available at the Farm Stall from 4pm-6pm today if you’d like to swing by and grab yourself or your Valentine a bunch of chemical free, locally grown flowers. Sorry no holds, first in first served.

Just wanted to let you know that for the next few weekends I will be taking orders only for bunches.
