A tale that begins with pancakes and a chance encounter! While out for breakfast, Dannielle and her mum got chatting to the women at the table next door. When one of them mentioned she had a single son, Dannielle’s mum pressed for more info and numbers were exchanged. 🥞❤️

A first date turned into a second and before long, a year has passed. While celebrating their anniversary at Crown, Joseph asked Dannielle to close her eyes because he had something to “complete her outfit”. Moments later, he was on bent knee with the glistening missing piece. 💍✨

💐 CAITLIN + JAMES 💐

Their story began at a church youth camp in 2018 with a very unexpected “Cinderella” moment. Every girl tossed a shoe into the middle of the room, and James made a beeline for the coolest pink high-top. When he found its owner, he discovered it belonged to the girl he’d already been hoping to meet. After surviving the world’s most awkward goodbye hug, they spent the months that followed messaging every day. ❤️👟

Years later, James brought everything full circle with a surprise proposal at the Wanneroo Botanic Gardens. After recreating their first date - right down to nervously dropping his keys - he led Caitlin beneath the lights, where family were waiting in secret, and asked her to marry him. Returning to the very same place to say “I do” made their wedding day even more special. 💍✨

Jen and Ed first met as 13-year-olds, sharing the same friendship circle for years before love blossomed a decade later. ❤️

Their first date involved Ed chauffeuring Jen in his “White Beast” – a hail-damaged 2006 Honda Civic. They picked a very civilised activity, visiting an art exhibition, but left feeling equally confused and amused by what it all meant.

When the time came to take their relationship to the next level, Jen had just one request: make sure the proposal wasn’t public. During a rainy hike in Tasmania with no one else around, Ed popped the question. Of course Jen said yes, and the newly engaged couple celebrated with squished avocado sandwiches from their backpack. 🥑

Jen and Ed, you are pure joy, and your special day was a true reflection of that. Thank you for having me share in it! 💕🌸

Kryshelle told Jake not to fall in love with her, seeing as she was just 18 days away from moving to Perth. Jake agreed… “It’s not like I’m ever going to move to Perth!” 😏

Fast forward through some heartfelt texts, a plane ticket, a whole lot of determination, and here we are celebrating a beautiful marriage - in Perth - between two people who definitely weren’t going to fall in love. 😉

It was such a privilege to be part of this day as Kryshelle and Jake’s celebrant, and even more special to stay on as MC for their reception. We laughed, cried happy tears, and had an absolute ball. Congratulations, Mr & Mrs H! 🥂✨

Some couples just make sense together. Travis met Haylee by chance at a family barbecue, and immediately got to work planning further opportunities to cross paths. Haylee was invited to his brother’s wedding under the guise of babysitting, and ended up driving Travis home where he invited her in to watch his favourite movie of all time, The Castle. How’s the serenity? 😉

After almost a decade together, two beautiful boys and countless camping trips, fishing adventures and family memories, these lovebirds have mastered how to approach life as a team. Congratulations, Haylee and Travis. Thank you for allowing me to be part of such a special day. 💕🌸

Eight years after meeting in high school, these beautiful people tied the knot in an intimate lakeside ceremony at Yindana Lake surrounded by their favourite people. What a gorgeous example they are of opposites attracting. Chelsea’s fiery spirit perfectly balances with Uriah’s laid-back nature, and the way they completely accept and champion one another is really special to witness. ❤️

After the ceremony, we were treated to an ice cream van visit before heading into a fun-filled reception. I had the honour of MC’ing while my husband Joe kept the dance floor strong as DJ. Such a joy to celebrate these two in a relaxed, love-filled day 🌹✨
