Our beach sure turned it for all our visitors this weekend

❤️💚 Well done Team Mackay Surf Lifesaving Club placing 1st 🥇in the aggregate Trophy again at the Northern Australian Championships and placing 5th overall against much larger clubs.

Thanks to our Competitors, Coaching Staff, Team Managers, Water Safety/IRB Crews, Work Force Crew( Dirty Dozen+), Canteen Crew, Restaurant Crew, First Aid, Sponsors(in pics) and regular Patrols volunteering over the weekend. Too many names to mention - we all know who you are.

What a mammoth effort!

Its officially race week!!!🏊‍♂️🏃🏖️

Months of training, early mornings, and relentless effort all come down to this weekend — as our Queensland athletes hit the pool, sand and surf in Mackay for three big days of racing.

Not only will competitors be chasing points and medals, many will also be competing to be selected in the Queensland Country Representative Team 🏆

So good luck to all athletes competing in the championships!
