✨ POV: You came to check out our new wedding venue… and it’s currently just grass and dirt. 😂🌱

The reality is, while we’ve only just launched Creekside Estate, we’ve been dreaming, planning, designing, and working behind the scenes for months.

Every single week we’re taking another step towards bringing our vision to life. It might not all be visible yet, but there’s a lot happening in the background!

We’ve been blown away by the interest already (seriously, thank you 🤍), and we know so many of you are eager to see more.

So, here’s a little glimpse of what’s to come…
🌿 Multiple ceremony spaces, each offering a unique backdrop to suit your day - a mix of fields, gums and a weather-proof option!
🤍An enclosed barn for receptions that blends a modernised country feel.
🌾 Plus plenty more that we’ll reveal as the journey continues!

We must have decided our lives weren’t busy enough… so we took on creating a wedding & events venue from scratch! 😅✨

What started as a dream has quickly turned into endless to-do lists, planning sessions, and more meetings than we ever imagined.

Lately our days have been filled with meetings with council, accountants, engineers, consultants… and the list just keeps growing. While it might not be the glamorous side of creating a venue, every meeting, every form and every decision is another step towards making this dream a reality.

There’s still a long road ahead, but we’re so excited to bring you along for the journey. We can’t wait to share the milestones, the challenges, the wins, and eventually open our gates to celebrate your most special moments.

Why Creekside Estate? 🤍

Choosing a name for our venue wasn’t something we rushed. We wanted a name that felt authentic to the land and reflected the place that means so much to our family.

This block of land has been in our family for decades, making it incredibly special to us. We feel so grateful to have the opportunity to transform it into a place where other families and friends can gather to celebrate life’s biggest moments.

Surrounded by canefields and nestled beside a picturesque creek lined with beautiful gum trees, the venue’s location inspired the name Creekside Estate. It’s a place that feels peaceful, secluded and connected to nature.

This little corner of the countryside is the heart of our vision, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

We can’t keep it a secret any longer!

We’re so excited to share that we’re officially in the early stages of developing our very own wedding and events venue for the Mackay region.

This has been a dream of ours for a long time, and we can’t wait to bring something truly special to our local community.

While it’s still early days, we’re working closely through the council approval process and planning the exciting development ahead.

We’ll be sharing plenty of updates as we progress, from approvals and construction through to bringing the venue to life. We’d love for you to follow along on the journey with us.
