last Friday night was a night of first times, no kidding. for me, it was the first time producing and directing a show of this magnitude, together with my glorious partner in crime , being a door girl and a stage kitty on two stages and one of the MCs (with varying degrees of success lol)...
I'd like to think I did my best.

for some others, it was the first time choreographing a number, or the first time on stage, or the first time getting paid for a performance...

and this is what is all about. I recognise talent, drive, and passion of the local artists and do everything in my power to produce 100% independent events that really mean something to the local community.

wouldn't be possible without the generous support and assistance from the crew (Kelly, Mikey, Jayce, Aimie, Shane, Leeloo and the bar crew on the night), the one and only DJ Funky, KAHS, , , , local performers .music , and, of course, our wonderful audience!!

we made memories out of nothing, and you made it possible. thank you all, we will see you next time!

🥀 "The Rose Book: A Complete Guide for Amateur Rose Growers" by H.H. Thomas, originally published in 1914. This book provides comprehensive guidance on growing various types of roses.

🍸 "Co***ne Blues" is a crime novel by Australian author Kerry Greenwood, first published in 1989. It is the first book in the Phryne Fisher series, which follows the adventures of a glamorous and independent female private detective in 1920s Melbourne.

🕰️ "The Best of Everything: A Domestic Manual" attributed to Robert Kemp Philip, the author of "Enquire Within," which is a 19th-century guide to household management and various other topics. First published at some point between 1880-1890, the book contains 1800 useful articles on how to obtain "the best of everything" - from cooking and etiquette to cleaning, life hacks, and general knowledge.

🏆 "Moralische Novellen" by Paul Heyse, likely published in the late 19th century.
Heyse was a poet, novelist, dramatist, and translator. This collection contains short stories exploring the moral, ethical, and emotional tensions of 19th-century European life.

🏛️ "Wonderful Things: A Familiar History of Some of the Wonders of Nature and Art" likely published between 1850–1880 by an unknown author (often uncredited or “by a lady”). The book is packed with short entries on natural phenomena, architectural marvels, scientific oddities, and historical curiosities.
