✨ DID YOU KNOW? ✨

A celebrant doesn’t have to be the person who performs your wedding ceremony!

That might sound surprising, but it means someone special to you — your mum, your best friend, your grandparent, your sibling, or someone else who has a meaningful place in your lives — can actually stand up and “marry” you. 💍

There are a few legalities that need to be taken care of, and yes, a celebrant still needs to be there… but they don’t necessarily need to be the one holding the microphone.

I was reminded of this recently when I was chatting to someone who was becoming a celebrant so she could marry her parents. ❤️
And it made me smile, because I did exactly the same thing for my daughter’s wedding.

Becoming a celebrant was something I’d wanted to do for a very, very long time — it just took me a while (and the extra incentive) to get there! 😄

So if you’ve always imagined having someone you love tell your story, share a few words, make you laugh (or cry!), and then pronounce you married — it may be possible.

Okay, I have a confession to make... I'm terrible at keeping this page updated - like, embarrassingly bad at it! In fact, you could be forgiven for thinking I'd given up being a celebrant altogether - but I haven't. 🤷‍♀️

Over the last few months, I've had the honour of marrying five lovely couples. Every ceremony has been small, heartfelt, and filled with close family and friends, happy tears, and hardly a fancy photographer in sight. 🧡

Truthfully, these are my favourite kinds of ceremonies. They're personal, relaxed, and centred on the two of you.

So, you see that while I might be terrible at social media, I’m still very much here and booking weddings!

To be included alongside some of the region’s most beautiful wedding businesses and venues is honestly a little surreal. The Whitsundays wedding industry is known for its tropical beaches, private venues, styling teams and destination weddings, attracting thousands of couples every year.

And now… Bowen Flower Farm is part of that story.

✨ Provide clear, transparent pricing starting from $300 (that’s less than courthouse fees)

✨ Send a draft of the wedding ceremony script for your approval

✨ Bring my own Signing table, microphone and speaker.

And then there are all the little things — the calm guidance, the behind-the-scenes organisation, and the thoughtful touches that help make your wedding day memorable for all the right reasons.
