When the rain looks like it’s going to impact the ceremony, one of the first things we can do is remove the signing, and do it afterwards. Georgia and Travis were so relaxed and happy to do this, and look at the result!! So romantic!
While I can do this on the fly, it’s much better to be organised and prepared and have a plan. The incredible Kim at was ready with champagne and cheese waiting for them in the intimate tasting room afterwards while they signed, and they got to spend 10 minutes post ceremony taking it all in. The perfect solution that allowed them to still have the outside ceremony they planned x

One of the biggest compliments I receive from couples is how calm they felt having me by their side on the day.

Jerome and Daniel are a good example of that… they were super nervous both in the lead up and before we started, but once we got going, they weren’t thinking about nerves at all… they were just completely wrapped up in each other, soaking in one of the best moments of their lives!

When the bride makes her own dress…. And only finished it the night before the wedding! The attention to detail was immaculate. It stopped me in my tracks.

The entire day was elevated, so considered and incredibly beautiful from start to finish. And with the creative genius of .brown (assisted by Luca) capturing both the beauty and the emotion, it was like stepping into a romance movie!

People often ask me how I could possibly enjoy public speaking, I know lots of people freak out at the thought, but what makes it more complex is everything else going on at the same time.

I’m managing nerves, reading the crowd, watching for moments, working in with your photographer and videographer, and occasionally checking if the weather is about to turn on us.

There’s a lot happening in real time.
It’s a bit of a juggling act… and the funny part is, the speaking is usually the easiest bit!

Proof that your Hinge profile can change your life!

Ian’s profile proudly listed his favourite things as coffee, chocolate and croissants. Em saw it and immediately felt this was someone who clearly had his priorities in order. She made the first move.

Their first date was a picnic in Flagstaff gardens. They shared wine, croissants (obviously) and conversation that flowed far too easily for a first date. Now the end of this date slightly depends on who you ask.

Ian remembers leaning in for what he believed was a polite goodbye hug, only to be pleasantly surprised when Em leaned in and kissed him. In her version, Ian was clearly going for a kiss, and she was reciprocating!

Either way, they are a brilliant Hinge success story, and they got married on the 17th Jan, exactly 5 years to the day since that picnic. ❤️
