Glen Ewin Estate has been around almost 150 years and is still going strong! It all began with horticulturist George McEwin, creator of the famous Glen Ewin Jam label. Production continued on the Estate for many years until the brand was bought by IXL back in the 80s. Sadly, it was soon in disrepair. When the Wauchope's purchased the property in the 90s, it was practically derelict. Little by litt

And we haven't looked back since! We're now Adelaide's premier wedding venue and from Thursday to Sunday we open our Bistro Cellar Door for a feeding of local produce and tasting of local wines.

Last year’s Gin Fest was one for the books 🍸✨

And next Saturday 6th June 2026, we’re bringing it all back to Glen Ewin Estate for another full day celebration of incredible South Australian distillers!

This year’s line-up brings together some of SA’s most exciting distilleries, each with their own story, flavour and approach to craft spirits.

Pot and Still , born right here at Glen Ewin Estate uses hand picked figs and locally inspired botanicals to create spirits layered with warmth, texture and unmistakable Adelaide Hills character.

Storytellers Distillery creates spirits inspired by resilience, creativity and the stories that shape local communities. Every bottle is designed to spark connection and turn simple moments into memorable ones.

Five Eleven Distilling is a proudly family run grain-to-bottle distillery crafting small batch spirits with personality, precision and creativity. Everything is made in house with a focus on quality.

Frankly Gin is redefining Australian small batch gin through locally sourced botanicals. Their award-winning spirits are crafted to celebrate connection, conversation and the moments that bring people together.

Heaps Good Spirits - Heaps Good Gin celebrates the unique flavours of South Australia. Using native botanicals and locally grown produce, every bottle tells a story of place, creativity and distinctly South Aussie flavour.

Alongside complimentary tastings from every distiller, expect curated food offerings, live music and seriously good energy all day long.

Gin Fest kicks off from 11:30am and tickets are disappearing FAST.

The wedding venue you've been waiting for... 👰🏼‍♀️

At Glen Ewin Estate, your ceremony can unfold across the grounds, overlooking the lake and manicured gardens, before guests move seamlessly into your reception space.

For some, that’s The Pulpshed, a restored 1850s timber barn, warm, textural and made for long tables, shared dining and a full celebration into the evening.

For others, it’s The Gatehouse, a more modern setting with floor to ceiling glass, opening onto a deck above the water, ideal for a more intimate, light-filled experience.

Both offer something completely different, but the same refined beauty and setting for a day that feels effortless, guided and entirely your own.
