Our reusable crockery pilot at prevented over 1000 single use items from entering landfill!

What a great start! ♻️✨️🌱💚🍽

Such a simple swap, and by starting somewhere small, we will learn and grow, and eventually, no more single use items clogging up our full landfills!

Thank you to and Numinbah Valley Environmental Education Centre for sharing your reusable resources so that collectively we can really tackle single use items!

It's definitely a great way to save those 10 cent refunds from landfill!
Of course, having a recycling bin option would also be great, however, from what I've seen with other council areas who have public recycling, the contamination is just so high, sadly.
I l👀k forward to seeing how well it works and what challenges will need to be overcome.
