Georgie and Adam’s wedding at Brickendon on 28 February was perfect in every way. The bride and groom were super excited to be married and were relaxed and ready to enjoy every moment of their day. Their bridal party were truly amazing: chill and happy to help in any way ensuring their special friends’ day was all they hoped for. Family and friends were in the mood to celebrate and the setting was idyllic - Brickendon is always a winner. I felt so privileged to be part of Mr and Mrs Jago’s wedding day. 📸 Love and Thunder

When a friend asks if you would officiate their wedding … it’s an extra special honour.

Montanna and Tom are such a beautiful couple - they have amazing individual strengths and talents and, together, what a fabulous team they make.

It was such a joy to be invited to be part of their wedding day and I loved meeting Tom’s grandmother, Edna again. She and her husband Eric had a very important role to play - they led the bride and bridesmaids up the aisle, scattering petals along the way.

When a friend asks if you would be keen to lead a Viking wedding, of course the only answer to give is “YES, please”.
This very unique and special wedding was held on the groom’s mother’s property and was the ideal location for the sunset ceremony.
Many rituals were included: an exchange of family swords involving the sons of the bride and groom, a handfasting in which the mother of the groom and the daughters of the bridal couple participated, a ring exchange presented on the tips of swords, a race to the feast and a Viking toast. Of course the couple drank their toast from ceremonial horns (don’t believe this photo, they didn’t stop smiling throughout the evening).
As my friends will know, dragonflies are special to our family and dragonflies are the symbol of Viking Goddess of love, Freya. I had the perfect necklace.
Thanks Jacquie and Dwaine. Ian and I wouldn’t have missed your special day for the world.

The 15 March was the special date chosen by Cam and Kiarni for their fun and bubble-filled ceremony.
Family and friends arrived in style by train for a unique and memorable wedding experience.
These two are such a happy couple and their smiles were present all day. Congratulations again Cam and Kiarni.

A new wedding experience for us today. A lovely ride on the Don River Railway train to a secluded reserve where Cam and Kiarni shared their vows and promises. The smell of the eucalyptus was divine.

Caitie and Harpreet - what a fun and fabulous couple.

Both are very close to their families: Caitie’s family were even present when Harpreet proposed (not originally Harpreet’s plan but it all worked beautifully).

Understandably, their wedding was a true family celebration held in Caitie’s parents’ garden. Caitie was very keen to embrace Harpreet’s cultural traditions and the whole day was filled with joy and laughter.

Celebrants never take for granted the special place they share in the lives of ‘their’ couples ❤️. Thank you again Caitie and Harpreet for allowing me to share in your’s xx

Jade and Jason chose their own, very beautiful backyard to be married on 28 February.
What a delightful couple they are and who says nothing exciting happens in the bread aisle in Woollies? Certainly not Jade and Jason because this is where their love story began.
It was hard to choose which photos to share. They are all so beautiful. Lochie from Lu and Lo excelled ❤️

The picturesque Glendale Estate was the setting for Emma and Lochie’s wedding on 23 November 2024.

This lovely couple’s story began when they were at high school but their relationship didn’t really begin until a few years later. At the time, they wanted very different things in life but Lochie quickly realised that a life without Emma was not a life he wished to live. They have been inseparable ever since.

Emma and Lochie’s wedding was a joyful and heartfelt ceremony centred on their family and closest friends. And how gorgeous was their daughter, Georgie’s entrance!

It’s at times like this that a celebrant can be relied upon to be prepared with a tissue.

Congratulations again to the Hulme family. It was a joy to be part of your special day.

Saturday, 15 February was Caity and Jacob’s big day.
Oh, and Shadow had a significant role to play too. Without his approval, Jacob wouldn’t have had a chance of dating Caity. There was never a worry about that. Shadow and Jacob clicked immediately.
This beautiful couple smiled and laughed through their whole day along with their stellar bridal party. They were such a joy to meet and that delight is captured so beautifully by Kristy and Bree of Kristy L Photography.
