Vendors. Some things to consider when booking your dream team for the day

✔️ Inclusions
Always check what is included with your chosen vendors, and what is not included.
Many vendors have packages with different offerings, so pay attention to the fine print to make sure what you want is included.

🚙 Additional Fees
Travel costs, overtime, early bump-ins or extra staff may all be invoiced as additional charges.
Ask your vendor to clarify what they charge for above and beyond your chosen package so there are no suprises when you receive your invoice.

🚫 Cancellations
Make sure you understand every vendor’s cancellation and postponement policies.
Life happens and having clarity upfront means you’ll know exactly what to expect if plans need adjusting. Transparency brings peace of mind.

💒 Venues
Ask vendors if they have worked at your chosen venue before.
The more familiar the vendor is with the space means smoother set ups, better coordination and fewer issues on the day.
Experience can be a major hidden advantage.

📋 Logistics
Your vendors approach to timing and logistics matters.
You should feel comfortable asking how they usually run their events, if they include buffer times when things don’t go to plan and how they work with other vendors.
