Our iconic velodrome is receiving its first major refurbishment since it first opened in 1984. 🚴
Specialist works are now underway, including track repairs, full sanding and resurfacing by world-leading velodrome experts Velotrack from Germany.
These upgrades will help support local athletes, strengthen cycling pathways and ensure future generations of Tasmanian riders can continue to train and compete in their home State.
Thanks to the cycling community and athletes for their patience while these important works are completed.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the refurbished track later this year.

We can't wait to welcome competitors, officials and spectators to the Silverdome for a fantastic day of DanceSport!

🕢 Doors open: 7:30am

🎟️ Your ticket includes entry for the entire event – enjoy both the day and evening sessions with the one ticket. Pass Outs are available.

The Silverdome is still undergoing renovations, so some areas of the venue are currently unavailable.

☕ While our café is temporarily closed, we'll have a kiosk operating throughout the day with a great selection of food, including:
🥪 Freshly made sandwiches
🌯 Wraps
🥗 Salad bowls
🥧 Hot pies
🧁 Muffins
🍫 Snacks and other refreshments

🍻 Our licensed bar will also be open, and Glennroys Coffee will be onsite serving fresh barista-made coffee to keep you going all day.

💳 Please note: The Silverdome is a cashless venue. All food and beverage purchases must be made by EFTPOS or credit/debit card.
