A perfect day for a perfect couple. Nathen and Bridie Youd made a further commitment together, with loved ones, and Renewed their Vows after 20 years of marriage. There were many emotional moments, and we all tried to stay strong, though it’s hard to do when the words are so meaningful. Their children Amy and Caleb also spoke on how proud they are of their parents…so touching. We all toasted with love to this gorgeous couple at the conclusion of their Renewal of Vows.
Thank you both for allowing me into your lives for such a memorable moment…I love being a Celebrant ♥️♥️

My wedding season started today with a loud bang and heaps of noise and laughter. Andy Bassett and Kat Williams, and 7 beautiful boys, are now just one big happy family. The Tailrace Centre could not have been more accommodating…fabulous set up, I always find the staff so helpful and excellent to work with…thank you.
But! Andy and Kat all eyes were on you, there will be some amazing photos taken by Rana Photography. All the guests cheered and shouted out “it’s about time” when pronouncing them Mr and Mrs Bassett, and guests showered them with bubble blowing and party poppers ( I’m glad I didn’t stay behind to clean up 😳) Wonderful memories were made, and how lucky was I to be part of the “happily ever after”….Thank you Andy and Kat….I love being a Celebrant ❤️❤️

Yesterday, was the best happily ever after.
Greg Cox and Emma McPherson ‘got hitched’ after 20 years together. A group of ‘handpicked’ nearest and dearest family and friends gathered at a beautiful river bank property in Hadspen. After their wedding there was a birthday party for Emma, and a huge surprise to all party goers, that Emma married her man, Greg, that afternoon. Most will say ‘it’s about time’, but at the same time everyone will be so happy for Mr & Mrs Cox.
The ceremony concluded with a special toast, then the children let the confetti cannons off…such a perfect ending, to a perfect day. Thank you so much Greg and Emma for allowing me to be part of your wedding day…it was my pleasure. I love ♥️ being a Celebrant ♥️

Tassie what a beautiful Autumn 🍂 day 23/4/23 and the most stunning day to get married. Today at a picturesque property at White Hills, family and friends came together to see Reuben Oliver and Jess Dobber and lil ones Finn, Felix and Penny become one big happy bunch.
So much fun, kids being pulled up the aisle, by Jess’s sister Emma, in a ‘Bunnings’ trolley 😂, mum & dad giving Jess’s hand to Reuben. Reuben’s brother Zeb, played the acoustic guitar beautifully, while also standing by his brother’s side, and Emma standing by her sister’s side. Family & friends made a very loud Commitment ’We will’, and Reuben and Jess’s Vows/Promises showed true love…meeting at ‘Roller Derby’ and their first intimate words ‘Hey Matey’ ticked every box possible. I have absolutely loved getting to know these two and their lil ones…thank you from my heart….♥️ love being a Celebrant ♥️

Yesterday was the day for making memories and dreams come true.
Stuart Foskett and Ellen McCarty had to postpone their November wedding, but this date, 11/03/2023 shall always be remembered by their nearest and dearest family and friends, as something that will be held close forever. Franklin House a perfect picturesque setting, and the volunteers always present this property to its best. Though the wind was chilly, it was so perfect in the Autumn feel sun.
Family travelled from all over, Stuart’s grandmother Sheila and Ellen’s sister Georgie had the pleasure of being witnesses to all the legal paperwork. Family played a huge part, which to me shows how close these families are, and I must say ‘my smile’ couldn’t have been any bigger 🤩. We all look forward to the stunning photos taken by …it’s always a pleasure working along side Scott.
I have already received the most caring messages from the Bride & Groom…it makes me tingle .
Ellen: Jan, I dont know where to begin. Thank you for everything! For helping our special day come to life and making it absolutely perfect! You are so beautiful! X### ❤️
Stuart: Thank you so much for looking after us yesterday! It was a beautiful ceremony and we are so proud that you were the one to guide us through! ❤️
Thank you beautiful people…..I love being a Celebrant…❤️

I am so dam excited, what an honour, firstly being nominated, and last night being awarded a TOP 10 Celebrant in Tasmania 2023, for the second year in a row.
It’s a privilege and an honour, because I have been chosen to do what I love by so many beautiful wedding couples and recognition is so important in our lives. Thank you from my heart.
Life is crazy with so many ups and also many downs, but I stand tall (well I try too 🤩) put my lippy 💋 on and welcome everyone into my world.
I truely want to say thank you to my couples, you have been so wonderful. I deeply want to say thank you to my amazing family and dearest friends for the strength they have given me. My dear Celebrant friends and other colleagues, we all love what we do, and we are so blessed, thank you for your knowledge and friendship. Thank you to the Wedding Industry Awards Australia committee for your time and challenges for collating and organising this event. ❤️
But most of all, I just wanted to say…how dam excited I am…..I love being a Celebrant ❤️

Yesterdays wedding was full of love. A small intimate group of family and friends came together to witness Steve Craft & Cath Adams become husband & wife.
We all know how hot the weather can be in Dunalley, and yesterday was no exception. An amazingly beautiful 12 midday wedding, situated in front of the Bangor Vineyard, by the time I was back in the car, my car read over 40 degrees.
Sparkling wine and oysters were consumer at the conclusion of their ceremony, Steve’s mum was live streamed in from the UK and Steve’s sister travelled from the UK, for a few days, to share in the celebrations.
There was also a very special moment as Cath was escorted in by her very close friend, a handsome young man, Will, who plays such a huge part in Cath’s life…my own little granddaughter ’Dolcie’, was the only attendant, she played her part as flower girl so beautifully, spreading gum leaf confetti and handing out the bubbles to blow for a bit of fun, while the signing took place.
Cath’s mum & dad had the honour of signing all the legal paperwork, while the bride & grooms sisters held the wedding rings.
A toast to Steve & Cath and a round of cheering, concluded their ceremony, before the luncheon took place.
Lil Dolcie & I went back to the Dunalley fish market to indulge in the ‘best’ fish and chips ever. Dolcie’s mum & dad were guests, so we were allowed to play up 🤭
Steve & Cath, beautiful memories were made, you are now husband and wife, but most of all…thank you, it was an honour being your Celebrant…..❤️❤️❤️
