Hi groovers and movers,

We thought that we would let you all know that by us coming together and dancing the night away we raised $2000.00 that we will be donating to our mates at the Black Dog Institute in the time it takes for.... well in the time it takes for a bank transfer to process really.
So once again from the bottom of our mirror ball filled hearts we want to say thank you. Without you guys (the groovers) and everyone else (the movers) that gets involved and helps us turn our ideas into a reality it simply wouldn't happen. So give yourselves a cuddle and sleep soundly knowing that every single one of you in some way have contributed to making a mentally healthier world for us all to thrive in.

Maybe we can do it again soon? Perhaps not leave it so long this time eh?

Hooley Dooley. That was epic. Did you guys have fun? We sure did. And we can’t thank you all enough. Without you guys we wouldn’t be able to raise as much money for our mates at Black Dog Institute as we do. And let’s be honest. It wouldn’t be a party without ya’ll. Whilst we are on the topic of thanking people we would like to say a massive thanks to all the DJ’s who so kindly donated their time and put on some cracking sets. Here’s to you Robbie Ryan, Clinton Daniel and Clay Crosier (with v special guest Charly Venn). Also a huge shout to Isaac Lethborg, Daniel Britton and their team at Boathouse Coffee for going above and beyond providing us such a wonderful space and wonderful service for the evening. Adrian Barrett for hooking us up with the sound, the light, the fog and helping us set the general ambiance! Sam Strong for his tip top photography skillz (check out his work on Insta). Thanks to the deadset legends Liam Wood and Georgie Ellen for jumping in and helping us with set up, pack down and everything in between. And once again thanks to everyone involved. You guys get behind this event time after time and it inspires us to keep going (no matter how tired we feel once it is all done). Clay Crosier needs little introduction, but we’re gonna give you one anyway. And this one has two fun facts. See if you can tell which one is true.

Clay is a constant across the Tassie music scene, hailing from Launceston, he is a regular at SpicyMusic events and underground parties all over Tasmania.

Expect to hear playful, rhythmic, stripped back grooves from this Tassie legend.

Did you know Clay has actually supported Will Sparks twice. Also, did you know that Clay only eats Brown Rice and oat milk in a puréed form fed to him from a fake breast bbq apron?

Hey lovers and movers of Disc OH! We have a little update for ya’ll. Unfortunately due to some unforeseen circumstances our mate Mind Dance can no longer make it down to Tas to play some sweet sweet grooves to us all. Which is a massive DiscOH! downer. Not to worry though. We have you covered. Our mate DeepSoul is coming on board to help make you move.

So as we edge ever closer to the Disc OH! we thought we would take the time to introduce some of the absolute legends that have been so kind as to donate their selecta goodness to us (for a time, not forever) to help sound track what will most likely be the night of the decade! Or even century!
They have also provided us with a fun little fact about themselves, which may or may not be true.....

Here is a little bit more about the man of the moment DeepSoul.

DeepSoul is the latest DJ alias of Clint Taylor (A.K.A Transcend & Mr Grumpy DJ).
Clint has been deejaying at, and hosting indoor and outdoor events in Tasmania since 2011.
His chosen genres are psychedelic trance, techno, and house music.
His dj sets are energetic and dynamic, taking audiences on a musical journey regardless of genre.

Also, a little known fact about Clint is that before he started out as an unreal disc spinner he was the founder and chief editor of Peanut Farmer Monthly. He could make or break someone’s career in the peanut industry with the stroke of a pen. He was held in high regard from Kingaroy to East Java and beyond. But after years in the game and the peanut world at his feet he decided to give the game away and take up DJing. And we the DiscOH! loving public are ever so grateful for it.
