A year ago, Mat and Jess made promises to each other to join their lives in marriage.

Today, they renewed their vows under the magnolia tree in St David's park. In a deeply personal and heartfelt ceremony, they reflected on the year that was, drew strength from their achievements and held each other close as they promised once again, to be committed to each other forever.

When I decided to become a celebrant, I didn’t want to just show up and hope for the best whether it was for your wedding day or your last hoorah.

I wanted to be trained by people who really understood what makes a ceremony meaningful—legally, emotionally, and personally.

That’s why I chose to train with the .institute and be guided by Sarah Aird and Josh Withers, two highly respected and experienced celebrants who offer real, practical insight into the art and responsibility of this precious role in our community.

People won't remember what you said, but they will always remember how you made them feel.

It seems that in that moment in March this year, I made Brad and Paula rather happy and special🫶

They were married on their property in the foothills of kunanyi early March surrounded by the love of their family and friends.

And yes, I got to wear my Blundstones, which made me very happy too.
