We had a great day yesterday sitting down with Henry from to chat about craft, mental health, a craft based expletive, and all manner of other random things!

Somewhere along the way we also made some piano hinge books and learnt that neither of us can measure and talk at the same time.

Our custom paper bunting can be made to any length to suit your decorating needs and was the perfect project to upcycle last years Christmas card fronts.

Our wall of findings and beads went up today!

Leadlight By Ettore got these boxes from a retiring leadlighter who used them as lead came boxes, we thoroughly cleaned, then The Old Auction House’s work placement student painted them for us!

It’s great how all the studios work together around here and share whatever they may not need or share the knowledge and skills they have!

We love that most of the furniture in KC is reclaimed and upcycled, it has had a previous life and has a story as well as being rescued from landfill!

We love our local arty community... this cutie was donated to the space this week and we can't wait to save ourselves all that handprinting in upcoming classes!

So much fun today hosting a private group for some siblings, we made some donut pendants before making a variety of jewellery!
We unfortunately won’t be running our school holiday program again due to COVID, but if you have a small group get in touch to book a private class for 4 or 5 kids and or adults.
COVID precautions and social distancing will apply throughout sessions.

Exciting Times!!! The Old Auction House now stocks Soufflé!!!!
We no longer need to leave the building to get any of our clay supplies! They have us covered for Premo, Premo Accents, Soufflé, Liquid Clays, Makins tools, Sculpey Tools, Piñata Alcohol Inks, Crystal Kote, Renaissance Wax, Isopropyl as well as a huge range of findings and Beadalon to finish any project!

We have been busy playing around with buttons (and will probably spend most of the long weekend doing the same) for some upcoming classes and just fiddling with these underrated everyday item is proving very therapeutic.... stay tuned for activities and dates for your chance to mess around with all manner of buttons!

We LOVE kids parties!
We had an amazing workshop today for a joint 10th birthday!
🎉
The girls rocked at mosaicing these mdf picture frames and had a such a blast while doing it...with SO MUCH laughter!

Helping them all to use their creativity and watching them grow in confidence during the workshop is such an incredible feeling!

These ones need a few days to cure and then a good clean and will be ready to take pride of place on the mantel next week!
