👉 Kyneton Town Hall 👈 Ruby Gill and the Rainbow Voices Choir

🎤 If anyone can silence a room, it’s Joburg-born, Naarm-based musician Ruby Gill, whose arresting lyricism, honesty and deadpan wit have already garnered millions of streams, awards and radio play from triple j, to BBC and KCRW.

🥇 Ruby’s “melancholic lyrical wizardry” has earned her the reputation of unmissable, with her Australian Music Prize-nominated debut record ‘I’m gonna die with this frown on my face’ landing at #5 on the AIR Independent Album charts and met with Sunday Times’ coveted “Breaking Act” accolade and worldwide acclaim in September 2022.

🌈 Ruby Gill and acclaimed local musician Mr Adam Przewlocki and the Rainbow Voices choir collaborate for an afternoon of harmony, heart, and spirit of connection.

🎸 Supported by Annie-Rose Maloney

🎤 Annie-Rose Maloney writes country-ish music about the deep kernals of pain we all carry around in our pockets. Annie-Rose will be sharing songs from her recently released debut album “Circle Walking”.

🤣 A big night of laughs is coming to the Bluestone Theatre with Women of Wit in 2026.

🎤 Starting in 2018, Women of Wit showcase the best emerging and established women in stand-up comedy. Past acts include Claire Hooper, Alex Ward, Denise Scott, Geraldine Hickey, He Huang, Emma Holland, Dannielle Walker, and Kirsty Webeck.
🎉 We'll be announcing the 2026 line-up closer to the date, with the usual special guests, new faces and a lot of laughs. So don't miss the 2026 Women of Wit.

👉 Bluestone Theatre 👈 The Deplorables

➡ The story… Bendigo, 1874 two women’s teams play cricket for the very first time in Australia!
🏏 Money is raised for charity, 2000 spectators attend, the women are praised for their sporting endeavours and then – all hell breaks loose – as the press decides that women should stay home, know their place and sit down. They didn’t. Howzat! They came back the next year, and played another match, this time in front of five thousand spectators!
🏆 Presented by award-winning regional theatre company – SooT (Frankenstein, Under Milk Wood 198(4), My Brilliant Career, Jane Eyre) – this joyous, uplifting, fabulously musical theatrical journey explores this momentous event and what it means for us here in the 21st century. These women deserve their place in history and it’s time to bring them back to centre stage where they belong – a tale of extraordinary women doing extraordinary things and the ordinary men who tried to stop them.
