I stepped in last minute to help Josh & Mel get married at the unicorn filled Helen & Joey Estate on this fine sunny day! And I feel so lucky to have had that distinct honour. Not just because they are lovely, and they planned an intentional, values led, intimate, stunning day - although all of that is true.

But because I got to witness the best ever instructional wedding video to show how the ceremony would play out that I have ever seen. It was animated and had sound effects. Like, come on! Mel absolutely ate with that one.

And then not to be outdone Josh put together the most extensive run sheet I have ever experienced. Complete with photos of all the guests ā€˜at their tablesā€™, dietary warnings with fun pictures and an FAQ section at the end. I can get around that kind of organisation!!

I cried happy tears watching Logan and Matilda on the dance floor on their wedding day.

Seeing two people so loved and supported, and so deserving of it all too.

There is so much to love about these two and they made so many top notch, totally right for them decisions in planning their marriage.

Like, that the whole thing wrapped up at 7pm because they like an early bedtime and a good bit of rest!! And it absolutely worked!! The dance floor was absolutely fire, especially for last bunch of songs. Nobody left early and everyone was full of energy and joy and smiles till the very end. Some people went out for dinner or drinks afterwards and some people went home to snuggle up with their cat. How excellent!

Matilda and Logan didnā€™t have a first dance - but they did have a first performance as a married couple as they both have music degrees. And wow was it special and amazing and wonderful.

What a day! What a couple!

See look!! Look at these absolute angels!!

Bec and Sean are beauties inside and out but they are also very very expert at party planning. In fact they are very expert and teamwork of many different kinds.

From classmates and high school sweethearts, business partners, life partners, parents to the most gorgeous little darling Harper, to now husband and wife - they really have done everything together.

Theyā€™ve grown up together and supported one another through so much.

This day was a celebration of all that they are, and all that they share and Wedding Bestie Em and I felt so so lucky to be part of it!

Happy belated Mothers Day to all the gorgeous mums I get to meet and marry! But especially to these two gorgeous mums!!

Corrine and Tarsha began as footy teammates (letā€™s go Yabbies) on the footy field but became partners in life, in parenting and in marriage. And I was so so so honoured to be there with them on their special day!

It also feels like the perfect time to send them love- knowing theyā€™ve just announced that baby number 2 is on the way.

Congratulations beautiful mums! What an incredibly gorgeous family you are!

We had a great little chat on stories last night about accessible wedding venues. And plenty of people were keen to hear otherā€™s recommendations.

And of course, because how can you have the best day of your life if you (or someone you love) canā€™t be comfortable in your dream venue.

Here is a small list of venues that were sent through from peopleā€™s own personal experience, or that of friends/family.

And if you have any experience to share to add to this list, or you work at an accessible venue let me know- I think this one might need a blog post!

Look! My friends got married! Everyone say hello to Ben and Will!

Can you believe that they are just as kind as they are beautiful?! And just the most perfectly matched pair!

This day was delightful! And full of kind souls all around!

was an absolute angel to be around, and the staff at are the kindest bunch!
