We had a great little chat on stories last night about accessible wedding venues. And plenty of people were keen to hear other’s recommendations.

And of course, because how can you have the best day of your life if you (or someone you love) can’t be comfortable in your dream venue.

Here is a small list of venues that were sent through from people’s own personal experience, or that of friends/family.

And if you have any experience to share to add to this list, or you work at an accessible venue let me know- I think this one might need a blog post!

We had a great little chat on stories last night about accessible wedding venues. And plenty of people were keen to hear other’s recommendations.

And of course, because how can you have the best day of your life if you (or someone you love) can’t be comfortable in your dream venue.

Look! My friends got married! Everyone say hello to Ben and Will!

Can you believe that they are just as kind as they are beautiful?! And just the most perfectly matched pair!

This day was delightful! And full of kind souls all around!

was an absolute angel to be around, and the staff at are the kindest bunch!

Amber and Rathin are magnetic. So fun and friendly and absolutely expert party planners.

This day began with a Hindu ceremony, followed by the western one, followed by a big party with lots of dancing. There were multiple fabulous outfits each, some of the friendliest and kindness family members I’ve ever got to meet and an absolute abundance of love.

Amber and Rathin are so truly, madly, deeply in love. It was all through their ceremonies, their vows, the way they spoke to each other, the way they looked at each other! It was beautiful to behold.

It is me! Your little fairy god mother, just letting you know that I’m spending the week in Thailand with my beautiful family and I am trying not to bring too much work with me! So I might just be a little slower to respond. I know you get it, you are all so glorious. If you need me urgently just pop it in the first line of the email and I’ll be by your side faster than you can say “bippity boppity boo”!

Elizabeth & Liam are like kind of my cousins! In that Elizabeth is the (second?) cousin of my husband’s cousin’s husband. But honestly I claim them all and nobody can stop me!

We mentioned this semi relatedness in the ceremony and so many people did stop me to try to get me to explain the link, but that was all good fun!

Gosh, this was just a marvellous time too!

And I’m obsessed with how breathtakingly beautiful these two look too! And how about that suit with the Scottish family crest on the back?! Such a beautiful way to honour family and heritage.

Oh my gosh everyone say hi to my beautiful hairdresser Maddie of .to.betty and her beautiful husband Jay!

I was so so so honoured to get to be part of this wedding day. I love what Maddie stands for, how she runs a business so steeped in her values and a real desire to create truly inclusive spaces and also her adorable personality!

Maddie and Jay organised the most authentic and comfortable day- well weekend really! It was so them, so significant yet with a fabulously casual vibe and with so many friends and family members helping out on the day! Including a friend who took these photos!

What does a celebrant do on Valentine’s Day?

Beth & Jem met over a game of connect 4, I’m sure there is a cute joke in that - something about connect 4 being a great way to connect 2.

In that game, and in each other they found an incredibly well matched partner. In fun, in silliness, in curiosity and in kindness, Jem and Beth well and truly met their match!

And their day was the perfect representation of that!

This day was such a joy to be part of - not just because I love to be surrounded by my fellow ginger locked companions - although that is also true!
