Just over 7 weeks until the barn doors open for our 2026 SALA Festival exhibition ‘The Living Plains’ 🌾✨

This August, Wildman Farm will once again become home to a collection of artists connected to the Northern Adelaide Plains, sharing works inspired by landscape, seasons, rural life and creativity.

With 14 artists exhibiting this year, alongside blacksmith demonstrations and creative experiences throughout the month, we can’t wait to welcome visitors back to the farm 💛

Brent had two more amazing participants in his Blacksmith Experience today. Making a fire poker and an ash scraper.

I had several questions about our hidden gutters so here is what it will look like when finished. The fall is highest in the middle and slopes down to the ends where the rain head and downpipes are. These will be hidden behind metal trim so you won’t see them. Choosing these types of gutters is a design choice so that we have a more architectural sleek finish. If we chose standard exterior gutters it would look more shed like and not the look we are after. They take more work than standard gutters but look amazing.

Brent has started fitting our colorbond monument hidden box gutters on our house extension… these have to go in before the wrap on the roof.

One of our favourite things about weddings at Wildman Farm is seeing how differently each couple styles the spaces and makes them their own 💛

Over time, our décor collection has slowly grown through restoration projects, handmade pieces, collected finds and even items first used at our daughter’s wedding ✨

Some couples keep things simple and relaxed, while others layer in their own florals, styling and personal touches, and we love seeing each ceremony come to life in its own unique way.

No two weddings here ever look exactly the same… and that’s exactly the beauty of it.
