Over the weekend my job was to get our cable reel tops painted
Now they are all ready and looking good for our upcoming weddings this spring.
Looking forward to seeing them decorated and in use by wedding guests.

We still have a few spots available for our Father’s Day Blacksmith Experiences this Sunday, plus more dates throughout September & October if you’d rather gift the experience for another day.

In this hands-on one-hour experience, you’ll work alongside Brenton at the Wildman Farm forge, learn some basic blacksmithing techniques and create something of your own to take home.

No experience needed — just come ready to have a go!

We’re probably not the wedding venue for everyone… and that’s kind of the point. 🤍

You won’t find a ballroom, hundreds of guests or a wedding-day formula at Wildman Farm.

What you will find is an old limestone barn full of character, converted grain silos, open country surrounds and the freedom to create a celebration that feels like you.

Choose your own food, drinks and suppliers. Keep the guest list intimate. Hold onto the traditions you love and leave out the ones you don’t.

Because your wedding doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s.

It just needs to feel like yours. 🌾🤍

Our Blacksmith Experience participants today. All of them made a snail each and had a great time whilst they were heating and hammering away.
Still some times lots left right up until fire danger season starts on November 1st.

Meet the Artist – Ryan Kammermann

Ryan Kammermann is a local metal fabricator from the Adelaide Plains who transforms reclaimed scrap metal into striking garden sculptures.

Inspired by Australia's unique wildlife, Ryan Kamm Fabrication has a passion for creating native animals, giving discarded steel a new life as handcrafted pieces full of character and charm.

A new artist to The Living Plains, we're delighted to welcome Ryan and his creative metalwork to this year's exhibition.
