Year 11 student Jayde Grylls has been showing cattle since the age of five through her family’s stud, Grylls
Cattle Co - including at our Korumburra Show 🏆

One of Jayde’s proudest achievements is winning Grand Champion Herdsperson at the National All Breeds Junior Heifer Show in 2024 and 2025, competing against more than 250 exhibitors. #

“Cow shows are extremely important to me because of the connections, opportunities and lifelong friendships they create,” Jayde said.

Jayde plans to study agribusiness while continuing to help run Grylls Cattle Co alongside her family.

Tomorrow 24th May, there will be a training exercise involving emergency services in Korumburra.

📅 Date: Sunday, 24th May
⏰ Time: Approximately 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Areas Affected: Korumburra Showgrounds

⚠️ Please note:
You may see a significant number of emergency vehicles in and around the town & the Showgrounds.
This is a TRAINING exercise only.
There is NO threat to people or the community.

Training exercises like this are essential to ensure our emergency response teams maintain the highest standards of readiness and competency in protecting the community.

CLOSED to the public

Today we welcome the clubs Annual Gathering to the Korumburra Showgrounds.

Each year 100+ vans (200 individuals) gather for a week of fun and catching up with old friends.
The event is usually held in Victoria every second year and this year they have chosen Korumburra.

The gatherings are catered for by local community groups, clubs and businesses with significant contributions from many hard working Trakmaster Club members.

In addition to bringing an economic boost to our community, each event raises a significant amount of money for distribution to organisations within the community.

The Showgrounds will be closed to the public for the week and we thank you for your support and understanding wishing the trakmaster members an unforgettable week in South Gippsland.

Thanks to Madeleine and for capturing the true essence of our 130th Annual Agricultural Show, which we held on Friday 13 Feb and Saturday 14 Feb 2026.
Many hours of preparation go into producing this community event, and we have prioritised encouraging the next generation to feel welcomed and supported to participate.
We look forward to presenting our 2027 Show and invite anyone who would like to come forward to be involved in the preparation.
