Old Skool Cool – From a Beer to a Car Show!
This photo right here is where it all started – two blokes, two classics, and a cold beer out the front of the pub. No grand plan, no committee, just a shared love for old-school rides and a simple idea: “Let’s get a few mates together and bring the cars down to the pub.”
That was 2022. We had 62 cars show up.
Fast forward to this past Saturday – 115 cars rolled in, engines purring and chrome shining. What began as a casual chat over a drink has grown into one of the most anticipated weekends on the calendar for lovers of classic metal.
And it’s not just about the cars – we’ve now raised over $23,000 for the Koorawatha community, supporting local projects and helping keep our town thriving. That’s the real horsepower behind this show.
A massive shoutout to Pat McColl and the incredible committee who turn up every year, rain or shine, and put in the hard yards to make sure Old Skool Cool keeps getting better. Your time, passion, and effort are what keeps the wheels turning (literally!).
