Congrats to Madi & Matt on their first wedding anniversary! 🖤🤍
One whole year since I conducted my first wedding ceremony and MC’d the reception as a celebrant. Was so much fun putting it together and bringing it to life with Madi and Matt in front of their family & friends. 👰🏼🤵🏻
And as the happy couple so beautifully put in their speech when thanking me - you never forget your first! 😉

Kinda obvious that I’m doing weddings as a wedding celebrant, but there’s a bit to it! 😝
I’ll take care of all the legal stuff as a priority but I also help with the planning of the day with a timeline, make sure everyone knows their roles with a rehearsal and make sure on the day everyone is relaxed but excited and enjoys the ceremony.
I’ll meet with the couple a couple of times to get a good understanding of what they want on the day and to write the script for the ceremony to make sure all the important bits are said, but the vibe comes through for what they want and keep it entertaining. I also will make sure I’m out of the way when the kiss happens so I’m not in the photo forever after! 😘
Then the fun part after with the reception where I can also MC the event as well… Lots to do, but it’s so much fun bringing it altogether for one big party! 👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏻💜🩵
