Today I have taken a day off my 9-5 job for a very special couple on a very auspicious date. In Chinese, the words for today's date (5-2-0) sound very much like the words for I love you. I'm looking forward to welcoming them into my home for a small Celebration to complete the legal components before heading back to their families and friends at a later date for bigger celebrations.
It doesn't matter if your wedding consists of 5 or 500, it still deserves to be special.

Saturday I had the absolute pleasure of marrying Mr and Mrs Trashcam.
The ceremony was beautiful with lots of fun and extra giggles brought on by their two gorgeous boys.
Jacquie and Cam were wonderful to work with and I was able to inject a lot of personality into their ceremony.
A highlight as I was leaving was an older couple telling me that they wish they weren't already married so that they could have a beautiful ceremony like the one they had just witnessed with me as their Celebrant!

Ah! That first look!
I love seeing my brides for the first time, but honestly I love more watching the groom's face as he sees his future wife walking towards him.
Who else got caught up in the wedding fever tonight?
