The support, love, and encouragement that our business had received over these years has been so humbling.

Georgia and Christian celebrated their wedding on their family property in Trawool, surrounded by breathtaking views.
Guests were welcomed with a selection of canapes before enjoying a gourmet BBQ feast featuring eye fillet steak, skewers, and beef sausages, served alongside roasted chat potatoes, garden salad, and a spiced sweet potato and lentil salad. A perfect menu for a perfect day!

We were delighted to cater Tony’s recent retirement dinner, held in the comfort of his home.
Colleagues travelled from across the country to join him for a relaxed evening and a delicious three course menu.
We took care of everything - from crockery and cutlery to setting the table, so all Tony had to do was enjoy the celebration while we worked our magic in the kitchen.

Karina and Oliver got married earlier this year at Log Cabin Ranch in Monbulk.
It was such a beautiful day - we provided grazing boards served for cocktail hour, then hot and cold canapes, sliders and skewers.
Weddings are personal, heartfelt events, and it means the world to us when couples trust us to be part of that story.

Lamb backstraps – delicious!
We source our lamb locally, season it simply to let the flavour shine, then skewer it up ready for the BBQ.
These generous skewers were served at a recent communion celebration and went down a treat.
They didn’t just disappear at the event – they made for a pretty tasty dinner later that night too!

One of my favourite cold canapes would have to be our roasted pumpkin and feta tarts.
Sweet roasted pumpkin paired with bitey feta, tucked into a savoury tart shell – it’s a simple, yet crowd pleasing combo that always disappears fast.
They’re super versatile, and we can easily tweak them to suit dietary needs.
We served these at Tony’s recent retirement dinner, and they were an absolute hit.

My Little Country Kitchen is Angela Poulter, qualified chef and baker that provides fresh, delicious and beautifully presented food, all hand made to order.
Starting out selling biscuits and slices at the local markets in 2012, Ange then studied to become a qualified baker and still enjoys making her slider rolls for catering functions, her hot cross buns are delicious too.
Ange is a quiet achiever and had an amazing few years in business. 2017-2018 saw her receive 6 silver and 2 bronze medals for her gourmet sausage rolls and spinach feta rolls, an achievement she is very proud of.
Also in 2018 she was a Top 3 finalist in the Women In Food Service Awards - Outstanding Service category. With over 500 entries this was quite an honour - a small home based business from Kinglake West in the top 3!
And to top off 2018 she received a Top 5 Brides Choice Award in the Wedding Caterer category in the Yarra Valley & Dandenong Ranges area. Voted by past brides and grooms over that past year, to be voted top 5 was a very exciting award for her.
