Hello flower friends,
Due to personal reasons Frances Cecil Farm is closing indefinitely. We are very sad about this decision. I do want to thank everyone who has supported our little farm over the past 5 years. We’ve met so many lovely people who love gardening and flowers, shared their knowledge, given us their jars and vases and offered to w**d. I can’t express enough how much it’s meant to us all the customers who visited Philomena, farmers markets and open days. People who support local businesses are step above the rest.
We will be having one last day tomorrow selling in Philomena. Sunflowers and mixed bunches will be available. We will also potentially be back for Mothers Day. It’s so exciting seeing so many little flower farms pop up around the north east so there’s definitely no shortage!
We hope our flowers brought you all a little colour and warmth in this crazy and scary world!
Don’t forget to change the water!

Due to personal reasons, we will be only opening Philomena on Saturday and Sunday from 8am till late (or 12 on hot days) for a little while. We are sorry for any inconvenience, if you need flowers mid week we are still doing deliveries, just order via website or send a message.

Feverfew is the ultimate cottage flower. We have lots and lots right now so tomorrow we will be doing a 2 for $30 sale. Philomena will be stocked as well as you’ll find us at the Wangaratta farmers market. Flowers last over a week and can be dried. Mixed bunches and strawflowers also available. 🌸🌸🌸

I’m very used to being bullied by my sister and Martha but today Mother Nature decided to join in with some bratty weather. ☔️⛈️⚡️Nevertheless! The tunnel snapdragons are looking very gorgeous right now. Pale pink, BARBIE pink, lilac, they also have a subtle sherbet like scent. I have a vase next to my beddy and they smell just so NICE. Philomena will be filled to the brim with bunches all weekend if you feel like a lil treat. I also recommend a tall vase with a smallish rim for the snappies looks best. They also bend towards the light even after picking so that’s some cool science?!?

Appreciation post for my gorgeous new painting by . I’m in awe of her talent, people throw the word genius around a lot but when I think of that word skill and creativity like this is what comes to mind. It might be my favourite new thing I own. Thankyou Tamika 💖🌸🌷

Hiya,
As well as having Philomena full of flowers everyday with flowers ranging from $10-$40 we also offer daily deliveries to Wangaratta for orders over $50. If you’re ever in a pinch I do occasionally deliver for orders less than $50, I’m usually driving into town anyway illegally parking everywhere. You might have even got stuck behind me on a roundabout. Flowers are hard to travel with. Anyhoo, this is a perfect option for birthdays and special occasions, basically something a little more 🎀fancy 🎀. Arrangements come in a jar with a card and ribbon. We can also try cater to certain colours and flowers, all season dependent of course.

Alrighty flower friends Philomena will be officially back Saturday the 7th of September. Sorry for the muck around, the weather this year has slowed growth on the blooms and I want to ensure Philomena is consistently and constantly stocked with quality blooms, hence why I’ve pushed back the date. She will return to her usual 7 days a week, 8am to nightfall and I’ll be returning to daily deliveries so send me a message or order online. I will also keep everyone updated on a date for a spring open day, I’ve had issues with my ranunculus germination this year but I’m hoping that won’t stop us from hosting a ‘pick your own’. I just want the best for my flower pals.
I’m very, very excited to be back on the snips.

Philomena is finally returning for a new season! Woohoo!
This Saturday from 8am, she’ll be loaded with goodies including bunches of tulips, stock, ranunculas and more. She will also then return to opening everyday from 8-sun down. Cash, bank transfer and payment via website all available.
Philomena also has some new additions and I’ll be sharing during the week. Come say hi this Saturday, she’s missed you!
