❤️KINDNESS IS catching - the Bella effect 💐Bella first touched my heart when she sat beside me on an excursion to Echuca as a grade 2 girl at st Brendan’s - blessed to know you angel
Privileged to deliver Bella Blooms workshop 💐💐🙏🙏
Last year, the Lighthouse team lost a colleague and beloved friend, Bella Ainsworth, to cancer. As part of our commitment to Bella’s vision for a kinder community, Bella’s friends and colleagues have decided to run a Be Kind project, which commenced on what would have been her 31st birthday, March 11.
Throughout March, the Lighthouse team has been busy gifting 40 pamper packs to Family Haven mums, distributing 50 Bill & Beat's and Stellar Coffee Shepparton
vouchers to community members, and sharing 10 Museum of Vehicle Evolution - MOVE and 20 Fun Planet vouchers with local youth, all in honour of Bella.
Bella was exceptional, inspiring and consistently kind to all who encountered her, and Lighthouse will always be grateful for her lasting impact and for reminding us that whether spontaneous or planned, big or small, widely shared or quietly carried out, we should always strive to Be Kind.
Of course, there can never be too much kindness in the world, so we encourage our community to get involved. Feel free to post your random acts of kindness and tag in honour of Bella’s legacy. The Lighthouse team would love to hear from businesses, schools and community members interested in supporting a random act of kindness, just email us at [email protected]
