✨NANS AS WITNESSES ✨

Witnessing is the best job of the wedding IMO (super easy but heaps of glory), so if you’ve got a lovely Nan, please ask her!

It is so spesh to see them have their moment up there in front of everyone. It turns everyone - including me - to mush.

As an added bonus, they also tend to have the nicest, most lovely and proper cursive signatures that look really excellent on your certificate.

Since I started as a celebrant 10 years ago, I’ve always had my price on my website. I’m a big fan of transparent pricing when I’m shopping for services. So this is all on my webby but I made a post to save the mindless scrollers an extra click 😆

No matter which one of these you choose, I can promise you that you’ll leave feeling wonderfully loved up and however many guests you have, they’ll feel the same ✨❤️

Not gonna lie, when I see guests’ red, cry-y eyes at the end of the ceremony, I give myself a lil’ pat on the back 😆 As if you don’t wanna have a good cry at a wedding.

It’s a privilege to create a safe space that allows and encourages people to feel and express their feelings.

The same goes for the couples, tears are welcome and encouraged. I see tears as beautiful & cleansing and they do not need to be suppressed. It’s a big, beautiful moment. Feel it all ❤️

You won’t find me in many of your wedding photos.

I like to be off to the side for 90% of the ceremony, and when you’re saying your vows, the mic is yours 🎤

Imagine if I was third wheeling here 😝🙈it’s way cuter when it’s just Rach supporting her beloved Marcus through his vows and me off to the side having a proud mum moment 😍 nailed it .morley_ ❤️

Sometimes you meet a couple through your laptop screen who radiate warmth and joy. People you somehow feel you’ve known forever.

Kat & Luke were two such people. Forever grateful for the algorithm, the marketing, the Google and whatever combo of things I don’t really understand that led these two to me ❤️

Ceremony excerpt from 2021:

Cue electrified cheers, claps and laughs from the 180 strong adoring guests ✊🏼 a ceremony moment to never, ever forget.

Cute fun fact: when I asked last week for ceremony highlights from my past couples, both Michael and Michael unknowingly answered the call within minutes of each other with the exact same thing: ‘f*ck the patriarchy’ 😂✊🏼

You two have stillll got it. One of the all time great wedding moments of the last 10 years

My ultimate goal when it comes to delivering your ceremony is to make you feel relaxed and at ease.

Sitting down for an online chat with me should feel easy, fun and comfortable and I hope you’ll feel that exact way on your wedding day too.

We’ll just be in nicer clothes and I’ll be wearing some make up. That’s the main difference 😂

I’ll set the tone in the beginning with the housekeeping to let the guests know the ceremony is relaxed, and they are encouraged to contribute to the vibe by getting involved with claps, laughs, cheers and tears.

Shoulders drop, people cheer and they too, will feel at ease knowing exactly what to expect.

Energy and vibes are contagious and carry through your whole wedding day. If your guests are relaxed, you’ll feel that too. It’s an upward cycle ✨

This quote from the gorgeous .parrish and .chynoweth goes down in the history books as one of my favourites ever. Sitting down with (and later marrying) you two was a joy I’ll never forget ❤️

Gimme alllll the mid-ceremony forehead kisses please and thank you 🙏🏻

Abby and Sam got wed with 35 of their closest, at followed by a dinner and drinks a short stroll away at their fave cosy wine bar .wine - all places in their local hood of Richmond. Streets they walk every day ❤️

They asked their siblings to do a little speech within the ceremony in lieu of speeches at the dinner and it was all feelings, fun, laughs and LOVE from start to finish.

More mindfully creating the wedding day you dream of. Ditch the things you think you ‘should’ have and MORE OF/ ALL OF and YES to the things you actually want.

Nailed it my gorgeous it was utterly MAGIC ✨ I feel so lucky you chose me ✨
