We are excited to announce the dates for Defender Fest 2027!

PRESENTED BY British Off Road

HOSTED BY Kenilworth Homestead

Defender Fest - coordinated by the Defenders of Australia Club Inc - will be held at its new home, Kenilworth Homestead, Qld, on the third weekend after Easter year on year

In 2027, we invite the community to roll in on the 15th after 10 am, and roll out on the 19th of April!

Weekend tickets will go on sale from Sunday, the 2nd of August, for Club members, and then open to the extended community on the 2nd of September. So join the club now to secure your weekend tickets early! at www.defendersofaustralia.club

Weekend tickets will be all-inclusive for 4 nights of camping and all the great things happening across the weekend. There are limited weekend tickets; once these have been exhausted, camping for one or two nights may become available. We will keep you informed.

Whilst this event is an unashamedly focused celebration of the Land Rover Defender and its community, we would like to invite all our Land Rover community to join us for a great weekend.

Day tickets will be available at the gate for each day, and an itinerary will be made public so you can choose the one that best suits you.

We are pumped to announce that Defender Fest has a new home!

Kenilworth Homestead on the Sunshine Coast, Qld, will become the new home for Defender Fest!

The team at Kenilworth Homestead are excited and honoured to open their beautiful venue exclusively for Defender Fest, in building a home for our event, and in collaboration with our presenting sponsors British Off Road, we hope to build something really special going forward, to be held on the third weekend after easter year-on-year.

A New Home, New Format, New Adventures!

40 minutes west of the Sunshine Coast, Kenilworth Homestead is a premier destination nestled along the picturesque Mary River, a stone's throw away from the charming Kenilworth township and some of Qld’s most iconic 4WD destinations to enjoy. A family-operated haven, they specialise in offering idyllic spots for family camping, catering for over 200 vehicles and provide a range of versatile spaces for our event.

Defender Fest is Australia's only Land Rover Defender-centric gathering, built for and by its tribe. Whilst this event is an unashamedly focused celebration of the Land Rover Defender and its community, we would like to invite all our Land Rover community to join us for a great weekend.

We are pleased to announce that Defender Fest will have a new home in Qld, to be presented earlier in the year, around April.

We are actively working to secure a venue to become the new home of Defender Fest, and as soon as we are able, we will announce the new venue and dates for 2027.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT – DEFENDER FEST 2026

After careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone Defender Fest until 2027.

With the current fuel climate crisis across Australia, we know many of our members and supporters will be facing increased costs and uncertainty when it comes to travel.

Defender Fest has always been about bringing people together from all corners of the country, and we want to ensure that when we do it, it’s accessible, enjoyable, and stress-free for everyone involved.

Rather than compromise the experience, we believe postponing to 2027 is the right call to protect what will make this event so special — the community, the journeys, and the shared passion.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our sponsors and stakeholders for their ongoing support, understanding, and belief in what we’re building. Your backing means a great deal to us, and we look forward to continuing these partnerships as we work towards Defender Fest 2027.

We’re incredibly grateful for your understanding and continued support. The extra time will allow us to come back even bigger, better, and more memorable than ever.

Self-proclaimed leader of the Band is one of our own, James Radvan, and we are pumped to have them! So great to have the tribe involved!

Please Stop formed in 2016 with Nick (drums), Pete (lead guitar), Stu (bass) and James (vocal/rhythm guitar), whose kids are all friends from school and scouts, with Colin joining the band somewhere in there

Playing a heady mix of 70s/80s/90s rock with smatterings of blues, punk and Aussie classics, we're not afraid to put our own spin on your favourites (such as our Violent Femmes-esque cover of Leonard Cohen/Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah").

Widely regarded as being "loud" and "surprisingly ok", the group is held back from runaway international success only by our relaxed attitude to rehearsal, lack of original material and fear of commitment. Also, our backs hurt.
