Thought I'd share this as we know how much effort goes into running stage races, great trails and great team. We are now long retired from running events and it's a tough landscape out there for those that do, so if you have a weekend and want to spend some time on the bike supporting a regional town jump on board!

The Tasmanian Bike Collective works with young people experiencing challenges to learning and helps them stay engaged with education and work towards becoming work ready.
If you can help the students in the program, jump on board or sponsor a rider in the event. It will make a big difference to young people in the program.

Although retired from running our own events I still get on tools as part my work with Tasmanian Bike Collective to get this family friendly gig on road. It's not a race, it's a challenge for solid cause, that if you jump on board, you will help change a young person's life.

Dearest Renski,

We were so sad to hear last week of your passing. Your vibrance, your care for others, will never be forgotten. We want anyone to know that was connected to this kindest of souls, although we can't be at the service we will be thinking of you all and this amazing person.

Your achievements on the bike were many, but they paled into insignificance when compared to your love for others. I'm glad we kept in touch, and we were buoyed by seeing you doing better after going through the toughest of times. I'm sorry our messages of support and love were not enough but I'm glad you got to see them.

For those who didn't know Naomi Williams, she was one of the many people we connected with running our events and her care for us when Sarah was injured made her a true friend.

To anyone feeling this sadness and loss, we feel it too and are thinking of you.

😈 October has arrived which means it is countdown time until the The Meehan Monster!!!

The RIDE Bellerive Meehan Monster is a XCM race held in the Meehan Range, Clarence Tasmania.

💪You can choose solo: 1, 2 or 3 laps or get a group together for a team to tackle the monster!

🧟‍♂️ Each lap is around 25km with 750m of climbing!! The course consists of around 90% single track, much of which is has been hand built over many years. The course will be similar to the original with a few modern twists added to keep the Monster happy. With the Monster’s new hunger for batteries, we are now open for E-Bike entries!

If you feel you can't handle the monster but would be keen to come and help on the day, just send us a DM and we can find you a role to fill 🤝

Heads up, for anyone keen to be part of the inaugural Tas Bike Collective Cycle Challenge - entries close tonight!

If a fun, low pressure and family friendly relay to help out an awesome cause sounds like a good plan, jump on board. Solos, pairs and teams of up to 5, all welcome!

We think at $15 per junior and $30 per adult it's one of the best value events on the calendar.

With now over $3k in spot prizes, Fairbrother little tackers races, bike demos and a retro bike show and shine, it should be hoot of day.

Hi people, you may or may not know, as part of my role with the Tasmanian Bike Collective I am running the Tas Bike Collective Cycle Challenge in 3 weeks, and we are chasing two more marshals to share the load. If anyone is keen and can help let me know.
We will ensure you have food and caffeine, and any help will be appreciated by the team.

The event is Saturday the 6th of April at Baskerville Raceway.
Also, anyone available on Friday the 5th, while we set up would be also greatly appreciated.

Sarah Kennedy (out of event timing retirement) and Rick Inglis from the Hobart Wheelers / Dirt Devils Cycling Club getting the timing database ready for the Tasmanian Bike Collective Cycle Challenge.
