I love storytelling!

It takes me back to my television days - taking the time to work on a story, film and let the magic happen.

For the past 17 years I have done this with Pilbara Site Pics - Commercial/Corporate Photo and Video and it never gets old.

This one was a last minute client request from PLI to head to the pool at the High Performance centre in Perth and chat with the Mineral Resources team swimming for the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research in the Perkins Plunge.

PLI - a Karratha based family business in mining and construction support who constantly step up for the community and on this occasion, sponsored the Mineral Resources team for their overnight relay swim.

This was anything but work and spending the evening with some of the nicest people on the planet was pure.

The 2026 Swim is at the HPC on November 21 and 22 - well worth dropping in if you 'e in Perth and throwing a donation to fund research into cancer, stroke and kidney disease just to name a few.

When Chinese Astrologists warned us that 2026 is the year of the Fire Horse and would move at pace, they weren't wrong.

This years has literally flown by.

2026 has not stopped. Criss-crossing the state with photos and video for mining, oil and gas, events, conferences, small business, government, corporate needs - the list has been non stop - it is wild, in the best possible way.

This weekend we hit the FeNaClNG Festival in Karratha.

The 54th festival entertaining people drawn to Karratha for two solid days.

Here is a little snapshot of last year's festival and this one is even bigger and better.

Another fabulous City to Surf in Karratha with a record number of participants - around 900 registrations!
