Floral By Nature

Floral By Nature Farmer-Florist growing seasonal, chemical‑free blooms for events, markets, and local businesses- and anyone who loves fresh blooms. Welcome,

My name is Celine.

I am a born and bred Blue Mountains girl, florist and horticulturalist. Inspired by the farm-to-table movement and driven by my passion for growing and all things floral. I want to provide the local community with a healthier, eco-conscious alternative to the mass Australian grown and Imported chemical laden flowers. Flowers grown with love using organic methods, the way nature intended, without t

he use of any toxic chemicals or pesticides. Flowers that haven’t been shipped from the other side of the world, clocking up thousands of “flower miles” then fumigated before they end up on your table. Flowers that are a little bit different from your everyday florist shop varieties. Gorgeous heirloom and un-usual flowers grown from seed, outside where the bees can appreciate them too. All carefully selected specifically for Cut Flowers to ensure good “vase life”, beautiful fragrance and strong healthy stems. We are still in the setting up phase out on our farm in the Kanimbla Valley but in the meantime I have been madly digging up our backyard in Medlow Bath, mostly because I couldn’t wait a second longer but also to start my seed bank, test out some new flower varieties and trial some different growing methods. The seeds are in, growing well and we will have armfuls of flowers to arrange and share with everyone from Spring through to Autumn. I couldn’t do it alone. I have my little helpers (Indi 3.5, Koen 2) that spend hours in the garden with me and my beautiful supportive husband that provides the back up muscle power, support and encouragement when needed. We are very excited and looking forward to sharing our journey as Flower Farmers with you!

Last market for this season tomorrow!

Magpie upstyle Markets

We’re at the Magpie Market in Lawson tomorrow for our final market of the season.

Expect beautiful autumn tones and armfuls of chrysanthemums, freshly saved from the chill this morning.

Come by and celebrate the last of the season’s colour 🍂

Autumn is such a beautiful time to be married - the colours, the textures, the sheer abundance of blooms. I haven’t done the best job of sharing this season’s special bouquets… but this one was my favourite.

We don’t do full weddings anymore, but every so often everything lines up just right - and we get to create something beautiful for someone’s special day.

Blackheath Growers Market tomorrow!

Autumn is overflowing on the farm, and we’re bringing it all to the markets tomorrow.

Golden sunflowers, rich chrysanthemums, mixed bouquets, jar posies, ‘Apricot Beauty’ foxglove seedlings, and our gentle Floral By Nature soap.
A little harvest of colour and calm for your weekend.

We hope to see you there!

Celine & Tristan

Busiest season yet! New gear. New rhythm. More flowers than ever off this little farm.

It’s our market stall era and every single market day has been so much fun! We’ve loved the new connections we’ve made with customers and other stall holders. Thank you for helping us sell out each week 💕

The farm is starting to wind down now and I’ve had a bit more time to reflect and I feel so proud of what we pulled off this season! Thank you for all your support 💝

Your Local Flower Farmers!

Can you feel the change of seasons? Autumn is here.

One of our highlights this Summer was when .photographs took photos of us amongst the Summer annuals to celebrate our 10 year anniversary of Floral By Nature.

I’m sad to say goodbye to Summer and some of our Summer annual crops (goodbye Marigolds) but seeing the chrysanthemums budding up makes it a bit easier.

Have you noticed a shift in seasons where you are?

What I’ve learnt from 10 years of flower farming?

Never sleep in!! 😆 All the magic happens early in the morning 🤍🤍🤍

It’s not just about witnessing and capturing dreamy moments like this, it’s also the best time to harvest flowers. They are fully hydrated and cool which helps them last much longer in the vase. It’s an early start but so worth it!

Front page news — literally!

Still pinching ourselves we made it onto the cover of our local paper.

Feeling so deeply thankful for this community that continues to cheer us on, lift us up, and believe in what we’re growing out here in the valley. Your encouragement means more than you know, and moments like this remind us just how supported we are.

Here’s to local stories, local flowers, and the people who make it all possible 💞

10 years on Vs The beginning. Look at how much the kids have grown!

The best part of growing flowers for a decade isn’t just the blooms, but all the lessons we’ve learnt (and keep learning) along the way.

Learning them is the gift - it’s what makes us better growers, better caretakers of this land, and better at showing up for the seasons ahead.

And truly - we’re so grateful for every single customer who has supported our flower farm. Without you, we wouldn’t have made it past that very first year 💗

A big thank you to .photographs for this beautiful updated photo of us with the kids.So special to have our little farm crew captured as we are now.
