If you’ve ever met Wayne Keoghan, you’ll know he’s equal parts wine lover, storyteller, and a loveable, local character in Kangarilla.

What began as a romantic adventure in Belgium back in 1983, when he met his wife Myriam, has grown into something far greater than either could have imagined.

In our Kangarilla vineyards, the Chardonnay is just beginning to show the first signs of growth as you can see from this picture taken last week. 📸🌿

You might notice that’s slightly later than in some of the warmer pockets of the Adelaide Hills for this variety.

This slower start is part of what makes our fruit so distinctive. The cooler nights and gentle mornings here allow for long, even ripening, building depth and complexity while retaining that hallmark freshness to our Kingsway Chardonnay.

Autumn. I love the change in colours, the warmer eats and the lighting of fires. Nothing better then getting into some of the bigger reds after a summer abstinence and cozying up by the open fire.
