I'm pleased to have received 10 acceptances across three salons in the 2026 Queensland International Circuit. Six of my images were accepted across Open Colour, Open Monochrome, Creative Still Life and Movement, with four of the images receiving an acceptance in more than one salon. It's always exciting to get a result I am happy with and to have my work recognised through judged photographic exhibitions.

Hi all, Pleased to have sold these images to a lady who spotted some of my images at the Brisbane RNA. These images are as follows, 'Looking Back' , 'In a Splash, and 'Pelican Portrait' all in fine art paper. 'Pelican Adrift' in metallic paper. The images are 8x12 inch and cost between $50-$60. Thanks for enjoying my pelicans! I will share three of my city prints that were also purchased very soon.

Hi all, recently Chezza reached out to me to ask if she could paint one of my photographs, and I was happy to say yes. Chezza has now finished her beautiful watercolour interpretation of my image 'Morning Glow', and I think she has done a wonderful job. I just love it when an artist is inspired by one of my photographs and then creates something of their own from it. I was thrilled to see so many Cape Barren Geese on Phillip Island, including a couple pairs with chicks. Althought they can fly, they mainly stay on the ground, grazing in the grasses. With over 3,000 geese on the island, it was lovely to see them from time to time. They also gather near the roadsides, so drivers need to take care. Native to southern Australia, I had only previously seen one in Queens Park Ipswich Nature Reserve. It was wonderful to see so many of these beautiful birds in their natural environment.

I’m currently in Lakes Entrance, Victoria, and have been enjoying the wonderful wildlife this area has to offer. 🦢

While crossing a footbridge to see the surf side, I happened to come across this beautiful swan family. It was such a lovely surprise and a special moment to capture. It’s been a really cold and windy day today and I must say I nearly got blown off the bridge walking back to my car!

I’ve had a wonderful holiday so far and, along the way, have managed to capture a few wildlife photos in the area.

Still travelling & now in Melbourne. These are my results from last Tuesday night which was the critique on ‘Weather.’ I received a Merit for Electric Skies and an Honour for ‘Veil of Fog’. My digital images received acceptances being ‘Dark Skies Overhead, and ‘Approaching Storm’. I must say I love to capture weather photos when the time is right however not so keen on going out in storms to get that pic!

Hi all, a few images from Dubbo Zoo today. Well worth visiting. Took a full day to get around all the enclosures. I enjoyed see the Asian Small-clawed Otters which were very active giving me quite a show running, swimming and eating.

Had a lovely weekend at Byron Bay with a fellow photographer. A few of my images from the weekend. What a wonderful area with lots to see and do. We were fortunate to have good weather and had fun doing some drone, landscape and wildlife photography.
