I had the pleasure of capturing Michaela's formal photo's yesterday before she headed off to enjoy her special night. Michaela looked beautiful in her stunning blue dress, and it was lovely to capture these moments with her date as well. Two special cars were an added touch to make the evening even more special. Hope the formal was amazing.

I took a drive around the country areas heading towards Mt Walker & saw this Black Shouldered Kite sitting very nicely for me to take a few shots. These birds are common in these areas but it’s always a thrill to see one. Often on power lines, dead trees or fence posts. Look at those eyes! Love the country!!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending some time with this lovely lady for a special little photography shoot, capturing some beautiful pieces connected to her heritage. Heke brought along a wonderful collection of artefacts from New Zealand, each with its own character and story. It was such a lovely opportunity to photograph some meaningful pieces and the history behind it.

Captured these images of some cute little wrens seen at Colleges Crossing lately. I particularly loved seeing the very fluffy female wren. I've enjoyed seeing these superb wrens back along the river edge. Hope you enjoy these too!

Hi all, Thought I'd share another memory from our recent Kimberley trip. This stop took us to a remote beach where, over the years, visitors have carefully placed shells on the rocks, creating a unique natural display. Although we went ashore to explore, we were very mindful that crocodiles are known to inhabit the area. That afternoon we also visited two aboriginal rock art sites. It was amazing to see this art work believed to be thousands of years old. It was a special experience that deepened our appreciation of the Kimberley's rich history and culture.

Red Wattle Bird seen in Yanchep National Park. This was a treat for me to see this beautiful bird as I haven’t seen them in Queensland around my area! The red wattle bird is the largest amongst the Australian honeyeaters. They inhabit eucalypt forests, woodlands, parks, and suburban areas. 💚♥️

Hi all, Last night's critique was on the subject of 'Bokeh'. Bokeh is the aesthetic quality of the blur in the out of focus areas of an image. Bokeh is often seen as circular colours in the background of an image. To achieve bokeh you often need a wide aperture and look for a light source with a subject to focus on. I receive an honour for 'Golden Dreams' and an honour for 'A Quiet Contentment' which were my prints and for my digital entries I received a merit for 'Perched in Gold' and an acceptance for 'Sunlit Grace' .

Hi all, I've not been well so I've been taking things easy but I thought I'd share some of my Pinnacles Desert images from my recent trip. Located in Nambung National Park, Western Australia. Its an amazing place with thousands of limestone pillars rising from the golden sand dunes. I was fortunate to have two galah's fly in on a pinnacle for a visit. Such a lovely sight. The pinnacles are situated 200km north of Perth.

It was my pleasure to capture these special moments for Emily for her school formal. Proud parents, grandparents and her sisters were happy to share this occasion at Queens Park, Ipswich. Emily looked beautiful and I hope she enjoyed her night and I wish her the best for the future.

Hi all, Some photo's on my way to Red Cone Creek and Ruby Falls area. Some of us had the opportunity to climb some large steep sandstone blocks to a freshwater swimming hole however I opted to go for a cruise in the boat and was lucky to see this crocodile sunning itself on the rocks in this area. Beautiful scenery seen all around this area. Loved the reflections!
