THROWBACK THURSDAY to one of the messiest and most colourful sessions I’ve ever done - and easily one of the most fun!

This gorgeous family showed up in white shirts and left looking like a Jackson Po***ck painting after a full-blown paint battle.

Water-based, washable and 100% chaotic in the best possible way.

Warning: laughter, colour explosions and paint in your hair guaranteed.

Ahhh yes — the #1 question I get from mums (right after “Can we Photoshop out the tantrum?” 😅)

Here’s the honest truth: I don’t expect your child to sit still. In fact, I hope they don’t.
Because the magic? It’s in the movement. The cuddles, the belly laughs, the upside-down moments where someone’s sock is mysteriously missing and Dad’s got sticker earrings.

They’re not just pets — they’re family. They love us unconditionally, they make us laugh, and sometimes they sit still long enough for a killer portrait.

If you’ve got a furry family member, I’ll work them into the shoot naturally (and yes, I carry treats in my camera bag).
