If you’re new here, or you’ve been following along and curious to know a little more about me, hello! ✨

My love of sewing started long before bridal ever came into the picture. From making dolls and their clothes as a little girl, to studying clothing manufacture and working within Melbourne’s rag trade, sewing has always been a big part of my life.

Over the years, I’ve worked in garment construction, production, couture bridal and alterations, eventually finding my way to beautiful Inverloch.

With over 30 years of experience, I now get to bring everything I love together in my studio.

Whether it’s helping a bride find her dream gown, making those little adjustments to create the perfect fit, or working one of my favourite “minor miracles” on a much-loved piece of clothing, I still get so much joy out of what I do.

For me, it’s always been about quality workmanship, the people I meet along the way and helping someone walk away feeling beautiful and comfortable in what they’re wearing.

Sometimes a small alteration is all it takes to make something fit beautifully, feel comfortable or give a much loved piece of clothing another life 🤍

There’s something incredibly satisfying about working with what someone already owns and finding a way to make it work for them, rather than seeing a perfectly good garment pushed to the back of the wardrobe or thrown away!

While we spend a lot of our days with beautiful brides and debutantes, we also love seeing our regulars and welcoming new faces with everyday wardrobe fixes.

Whether it’s a pair of jeans that are a little too long, a work shirt that doesn’t quite fit, dress straps that need adjusting, or a favourite piece that could do with a little TLC, we’d love to help. 💕

After a few big beautiful weeks of bridal appointments during our Modeca trunk show, we are now settled back into our day to day bridal try ons, general alterations, and all the special moments in between 🤍

We are so grateful for the love and support shown throughout. It was such a beautiful experience connecting with all of our brides to be and their loved ones while sipping ch*****ne and trying on the most gorgeous gowns.

We’ve been so excited welcoming our beautiful brides into the studio for the Modeca Trunk Show and sharing some yes to the dress moments!!!

We’ve only a few days left to try on these 13 stunning Modeca gowns. While sizing options are limited during the trunk show, we have plenty of ways to help you try on and experience the overall shapes, fit and feel of each one.

Alongside the trunk show gowns, we also have our other collections available to help guide sizing and styling options for your perfect dress.
