As we power through 2025, it’s always worth pausing to reflect on the journey so far – and what a year it’s been!

This year, the Event Team has had the privilege of managing five major events, each one selling out and breaking participation records:

🏊‍♂️ Busselton Jetty Swim – bringing thousands together for one of WA’s most iconic open-water swims.
🏝 Rottnest Channel Swim – a world-famous challenge connecting swimmers with the beauty of Rottnest Island.
🚤 Port to Pub – a massive endurance swim with an incredible community spirit.
🏃‍♀️ HBF Run for a Reason – uniting tens of thousands of runners and walkers in the heart of Perth for a great cause.
🚴‍♂️ Backroads Gravel – celebrating the Midwest with WA’s largest gravel ride and trail run. with the first ever WA State Gravel Championships!

None of this would be possible without the incredible contractors, volunteers, staff, crew, clients, sponsors, and our dedicated team who pour their time, skill, and energy into every detail. You make these moments happen.

Behind every starting gun and finish line is months of planning, teamwork, and passion – and we’re so proud to help make these events the best they can be for participants, communities, and spectators alike.

If the first half of the year is anything to go by, the rest of 2025 is going to be huge. Let’s see what’s next! 🚀

We’re incredibly proud to share that our very own C-Wise Dwellingup 100 and Mighty Jarrah Trail Run Course Director, Tony Tucknott, has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his outstanding service to mountain biking! 🏅🚵‍♂️

For decades, Tony has poured his passion and expertise into the sport, and he’s a key force behind making our courses some of the best in Australia.

A massive shoutout to this incredible crew — the legends behind the scenes who made the 2025 HBF Run for a Reason a record-breaking success! 💙

Despite the rain, more than 40,000 runners, walkers, and wheelers hit the streets of Perth, raising over $1.9 million for 350+ charities. That’s the power of purpose — and teamwork! 🙌

A heartfelt thank you to HBF for the opportunity to be part of something so meaningful. We’re proud to have played a role in helping deliver one of WA’s biggest and most impactful community events.
