There’s something a little bit magic about maternity sessions at the beach, even when it’s not exactly warm. She slipped into her bikini and wandered into the shallows like it was nothing, and the breeze gave everything this gorgeous, lived-in energy.⁠

Her husband joined in too, flamingo-legging his way through thanks to an injured Achilles. Completely unintentional. Completely perfect.⁠

PSA to anyone breastfeeding, or intending to: buy some good bras. ⁠

I managed to just snap an underwire this morning, after a wire poked through on another bra last week. Frustrating! It got me thinking back to when I finally ventured back into a proper bra shop after I finished breastfeeding my youngest. ⁠
⁠
I’d been wearing these cheap, ill-fitting Target bras, for months and months, and my endowment is such that that wasn’t a good idea. ⁠
⁠
I didn’t give the time or money to take care of myself in this way. And I should have, because wearing these ill-fitting bras didn’t feel good. Physically, sure, but they were also something that made it that much harder to feel good about myself. ⁠
⁠
So, there’s my PSA. Buy yourself some good bras. You deserve it. ⁠
⁠

Do you have double authentication set up on your Instagram account? No? Go do it now, I’ll wait.

My personal account was hacked back in January. They got into my email account first, then reset the email address linked to my Insta account AND verified it.

Trying to report the problem here is an endless loop of…nothingness. Now my account appears to just be gone. I did screenshot a bunch of posts - hopefully my more sentimental - but it feel like over 10 years of history disappeared.

So please, learn from my mistake.
