As another wedding season comes to a close, my heart is so incredibly full.
From barefoot beach weddings, to beautiful farm weddings, charming homesteads filled with history, and some of the most stunning venues Victoria and interstate has to offer — every single ceremony has been unique and absolutely amazing.
This season has been filled with unforgettable moments. I performed my very first hand-fasting ritual, celebrated love stories that made everyone (including me) laugh and cry, travelled countless kilometres, and yes... managed to lose my keys on a couple of occasions along the way! Thankfully they were lost after the ceremony!
But the truth is, it’s never really about the location.
It’s about the people.
The incredible couples who trust me to stand beside them on one of the most important days of their lives. The families and friends who gather to celebrate them and their love. The amazing vendors who pour their hearts into creating magic in their field. And the overwhelming amount of love, laughter, happy tears, and happiness that surrounds every wedding day.
I’ve also had the privilege of helping families say goodbye to loved ones, sharing stories, celebrating lives, and honouring memories that will never be forgotten.
To everyone who has followed along, shared a post, recommended my services, chosen me to marry you, or trusted me to help farewell someone special — thank you.
Being invited into these moments is something I never take for granted. It is a privilege, an honour, and quite simply I have the best job in the world.
With only 5 weeks until the wedding season kicks off again for me, I am enjoying some time reflecting and getting ready to celebrate my gorgeous couples saying ‘I Do’!
