Hey, it's Stewie! I feel like it's time to do an intro. I have run this page for a few years and shown off food pics when I remember to take them or if I'm lucky enough to have a photographer at an event!

But I feel like it's time to showcase why you even follow this page... and it's hopefully what I offer! I am in my 18th year as a chef, which is crazy because I'm in my mid-20s... or 34. You choose!

Having done my training around Victoria under some amazing chefs, and then pushing my own skillset to be the best I could be, I am now in a position to offer catering to all spectrums of events. From a little fine dining experience to a banquet for your 40th or even a multi-day event for 400 people+.

I never shy away from a challenge; in fact, I thrive on it! There is no event I won't do, no style of food I don't try. My point of difference is that I actually care... I still love food... I mean, look at me! And I cook at home still; I even started a food prep business three weeks ago, feel free to check it out .

I get a real kick out of making an event something memorable and something that has personality, and I love working alongside other great vendors and always exchange details with the best ones so that I can help recommend them to you! Because I want you to have the best possible experience, no matter how big or small the event is.

People always ask me how I come up with the menu for each wedding or event.
It’s actually pretty simple 👇
1. I start with you
What do you like to eat?
What don’t you like?
Any favourite flavours, cultures or food memories you want included?
This gives me the direction.
2. I look at the day itself
Time of year
Time of day
Location & venue setup
How the event flows (ceremony, canapés, dinner, etc.)
This tells me what style of food works best.
3. I build the menu around balance
A mix of proteins
Good vegetarian options
Fresh sides and colour
Different textures and flavours across the whole menu
So everything works together, not just as individual dishes.
4. I use what’s in season and local
Better produce
Better flavour
Better result on the plate
5. I make sure it suits your guests
Dietaries covered
Enough food for everyone
Service style that feels right (roaming, shared feast, plated, etc.)
At the end of it, you don’t get a “standard package”…
You get a menu that actually fits your day and your people.

An intimate dinner at — a truly special setting for a memorable night of food.

Entrée:
Chorizo dust, seared prawn cutlets and pear

Main:
Medium-rare eye fillet with confit diced potatoes, carrot purée, snow peas and crispy fried kale

Dessert:
Vanilla bean panna cotta with lemon-infused blueberries, vanilla-poached nectarine and coconut praline dust

The final photo is of the staff quarters at Mt William Station, where the team stays on site during these remote, intimate events.

❤️ Hearts of the Wimmera – Fire Recovery Fund ❤️
On the night of 8 January, during extreme 40°C+ heat, lightning strikes sparked multiple fires across the Wimmera, particularly through Natimuk, Nurrabiel, Mitre and Quantong.
Those fires moved fast — and they changed lives in hours.
More than 30 homes were destroyed.
Over 40 buildings were lost.
Thousands of hectares of farmland burnt.
Livestock, fencing, feed and machinery gone.
For many local families, everything they owned was wiped out.
This fundraiser isn’t about second-hand goods or public hand-outs.
It’s about dignity.
Hearts of the Wimmera is raising funds to provide: • Supermarket vouchers
• Clothing and footwear vouchers
• Fuel, pharmacy and household essentials
So people can walk into a shop, buy what they need for their family, and not feel like they’re begging or being put on display online.
The road back from a fire doesn’t end when the flames go out.
That’s when the hardest part starts.
