It’s hard to believe its already been a year since we were up in for Nicole and Cam’s wedding - bwith perfect weather, overseas guests, Sunny their fur baby and the most fun you could have at a wedding!

26 | 02 | 2026 was a very special day for Alicia and Cam and I was so very privileged to share it with them.

Their day started with an almost made to order mist, rolling through the hills of Kangaroo Valley, adding to the effortlessly romantic backdrop of Barrengarry. Barranca Retreats provided a dreamy setting for Alicia and Cameron’s stunningly unique, elopement ceremony. It was completely true to them and everything that they had wished for ~ their two gorgeous children added so much love, laughter and meaning to the day and their celebration was complete with their closest friends by their side, as witnesses.

I will admit that there wasnt only misty hills (which I know Alicia was very happy about, Cameron), our couple’s ceremony was heartfelt, personal and truly honoured the love that they share and the family they have built together….both Lish and Cam put their hearts on their sleeves with their vows and even had me reaching for a tissue!

What a job i have 🖤❤️🖤

On this cold, rainy day today, it has me looking back and adoring the day Roxy and Cam said their ‘I do’s’ in Kangaroo Valley in 2024.
Despite the steamy 32 degree temperature, our couple and their cute bridal party kept their cool and calm exterior and had the most fun with their day, the ceremony was such a feel good event and is definitely a wedding that will be remembered by all, for years to come.

Getting to know me….
I am Donna Claire the celebrant and I ❤️love, ❤️love, ❤️love my new celebrant career path. My background is beauty and travel, which are still very much my interests, as well as my awesome family of husband, 3 children, 2 daughter-in-laws (actually one isn’t technically a d.i.l. for 6 weeks and counting down), one grandchild and one rescue staffy….she was sent to try us!
I love hanging out on the beautiful South Coast, sharing time with good friends - even better if it involves music, coffee, desserts and fizz or a nice Sav. Blanc!

I am a passionate volunteer for the Look Good Feel Better program and have been for 17 years, I’m again this year, to fundraise for them.

I love good old fashioned kindness and my biggest peev is entitlement and bad manners.

As a professional, I’m all about communication and making your wedding planning process efficient, organised and stress free. My ceremony vibe is relaxed, engaging, inclusive and most of all fun, as we tell your love story in a unique and personal way!

The road to love is rarely a straight line and life can have a very cruel way of playing out sometimes.

Today I reflect on B & D on what was to be their one year anniversary, their marriage was never destined for longevity and it was the most heartfelt ceremony that I have conducted.

I had the privilege of knowing D very briefly and his cheeky personality shone through, even in the difficult times that were being endured.

I was allowed the honour of uniting this special couple officially that day, as they borrowed time and it will stay with me for always ❤️
